jjstang 51 Report post Posted January 18, 2017 Ok, I know an OEM door would be best, but finding a reasonably price door that doesn't require extensive repair is illusive. Besides, I have one of those already. So here's the question..... which are the best? I see Goodmark, dynacorn, goldstar. Are there others? I read one of them might have door handle mis-alignment issue. Thanks 3 DerrickHah, ncdruroSor and Selmadox reacted to this
Mike65 475 Report post Posted January 18, 2017 IIRC the drivers side door shell I used was the less expensive one that CJ Pony sells & it fit well & has a good review. So far all the holes are where they should be. http://www.cjponyparts.com/door-shell-reproduction-1969-1970/p/DR3-V/
jjstang 51 Report post Posted January 18, 2017 I looked at the questions section on that door. Says its unbranded and are sourced from various vendors. That sounds like a crap shoot.
det0326 179 Report post Posted January 20, 2017 I got my doors from dynacorn the drivers door was better than the passenger door. With that said if you want perfect gap and body lines they all will probably need some work. Dave
Midlife 814 Report post Posted January 21, 2017 My experience is the best quality doors are found during MCA National shows. Look to the Thoroughbred or Concours section; bring the appropriate wrenches but be discrete about things... 3 Caseyrhe, Raven R code and RPM reacted to this
