edwards54 15 Report post Posted May 24, 2016 My 69 fastback is an original A.C. California car. I have no future plans to put A.C. in the car but I have several of the original pieces. Is there a market out there for these pieces? Is this something to put on Ebay or craigslist? Thanks for any thoughts Bob 1 sandyoh2 reacted to this
Shep69 149 Report post Posted May 24, 2016 If your AC/heater box plenum is on good condition that's worth money. I have seen them go for $500.

LindenBruce 27 Report post Posted May 25, 2016 Unless you need the money, I would wrap and preserve those pieces and keep them. They are getting hard to come by and it will add to any resale value of your ride. B.
danno 128 Report post Posted May 25, 2016 I would be with LindenBruce. Keep your old parts so the car can be restored when you move to Texas and decide you want the AC. Or you sell your car to a collector who does want the AC. I keep all the old stuff I take off, you never know...

1969_Mach1 333 Report post Posted May 25, 2016 I installed all the under dash A/C components in my Mach 1, they all work okay, and plugged the evaporator fittings with the correct size AN fittings in the engine compartment. The compressor, brackets, pulleys, and other under hood components I saved in a plastic tote bin. Down the road if you ever sell the car it's better to have all the components the car came with even if they are not installed.
