mustangstofear 608 Report post Posted March 5, 2019 We were missing the 3 brackets at the bottom of the backglass, so we had to make them. Also had to call Dan at Colorado Mustang to get the upper and lower brackets for the Qtr windows.

Also, I like your one piece headliner, really do. However, I really wished it had more of the OEM look to it, texture and such. Any consideration to that? All of our ABS products have a grained vinyl look.
Machspeed 219 Report post Posted March 7, 2019 Rich, not just the grain, but the headliner bow look seen in the factory headliner. I guess if you did that, you'd have to pull the console, assuming it is molded into the headliner. Personally, I'm not a fan of the overhead console, though. Most probably are and that is who you need to address. Still, I'd love to see a one piece that looks just like the original. Thanks for posting the video! It would not be possible to do what you are requesting. Yes, a lot of people like the console.
Machspeed 219 Report post Posted March 7, 2019 Understand on the headliner. Suspect that console adds some support to the unit. Great video, Rich. Materials, details, etc. Thank you so much for that! Jeez, I love the project car too! Looking forward to seeing it in completed form! Spectacular!!!
mustangstofear 608 Report post Posted March 7, 2019 The console does add strength, but you can order any of our headliners without the console.
mustangstofear 608 Report post Posted March 7, 2019 Does anyone know if there are any type of clips that hold the center A/C vent in ?
Grabber70Mach 107 Report post Posted March 7, 2019 Rich, Yes the stock center AC vent has four clips that hold it in if I remember correctly.
Grabber70Mach 107 Report post Posted March 7, 2019 Pretty sure these are what you need. secure.cougarpartscatalog.com/c7az-14570-a.html Looks like you only need two of them according to there text write-up.

mustangstofear 608 Report post Posted March 8, 2019 Needed to install the A-pillar moldings before the dash goes in. We will probably just make some clips to hold the center vent in, can't wait a week to get them.

mustangstofear 608 Report post Posted March 9, 2019 After trying the different sets from stainless works that were all too loud we tried a 14" round from Magnaflow. This was much quieter. I called Magnaflow and asked if they made a longer one and they make a 22". It was even better when we tested it in our 65 coyote swap build. On Monday we will put it in this 69. 1 RPM reacted to this
mustangstofear 608 Report post Posted March 9, 2019 Our new tailpipes we designed made it a breeze to hook up. Trying to find tailpipes to go around a Watt's link, 4 link or a 3 link use to be impossible, but not now :)
