kevin31 21 Report post Posted June 30, 2015 Hi there, I found out that my MC has a little seepage from the top. Every Time i go for a ride, when I park the car in the garage, I need to wipe the MC. I changed already 2 Times the seal, in perfect condition. No change. Fluid level is at 3/8" from the top. Any ideas about that problem
1969_Mach1 333 Report post Posted June 30, 2015 That's kind of strange. I have noticed on these master cylinders the outside dimensions of the rubber gasket seems a little small so I have to be very carful when installing the cap.
Rsanter 152 Report post Posted July 1, 2015 Check/change the cap. Sounds like it is not providing even pressure to properly make the seal Bob
rwcstang 201 Report post Posted July 1, 2015 or try re-bending the clamp that holds down the cap. I've had issue where it would do the same thing and eventually contaminated my whole brake system which i had to replace everything.

kevin31 21 Report post Posted July 18, 2015 So, i swapped the new cap by an old one (hide in the garage). And now it is perfect. No leak or seapage. Thanks to all of you :-)
