Mike65 476 Report post Posted August 8, 2012 On my 69 Coupe I had to replace the rear gas tank support panel that runs from the back of the l/s frame rail to the r/s one that the lower part of the tail light panel welds to & I didnt have to bend it. 70Nightmare 20 Report post Posted August 8, 2012 I thought on the rear trunk brace you have to weld the buttom part also where the rear seats in on the brace. If its just the back that get welded like in mike65 pic then mines do line up. Here is what i was talking about about. 70Nightmare 20 Report post Posted September 11, 2012 Its been awhile since I did a update. I havent work on the stang in awhile with bad weather and being discourage. Today I work on it all day and got the passenger side rocker welded on what a pain it was but it came out good.I plan on redoing my rear frame rails I didnt like how they set. dbennett 10 Report post Posted September 11, 2012 all the rust at the bottom rear of the panels? Im looking for a passenger wheel arch and the bottom portion of the DS from the arch to the door . 70Nightmare 20 Report post Posted September 17, 2012 Today I felt lazy so I didnt really do much just finished up the passengerside and started on the drive which easnt as bad as the passengerside. I still got to grind down the welds. This coming week I plan to finish the driver and start putting the back together. Im going to redo my rear frames too. I got to clean up some grease off from under the rear floor pans before I get back to the more body work. I will be working on her some more tomorrow. 70Nightmare 20 Report post Posted October 2, 2012 (edited) Here is a little update. Today i only put up the left trunk corner and put brace in the inner rear frame rails. I need some help with installing the rear front trunk floor does that go from the buttom or the top. It seems to fit better when I put it on underneath the old trunk floor if anybody has done this tips are welcome.
