rr03cobra 3 Report post Posted September 29, 2021 I have installed the TCP subframe connectors with the cross brace. Has anyone installed this and do you have a picture of how you routed the exhaust? I purchased Magnaflows exhaust with an x-pipe before I purchased the cross brace. Looks like an h pipe will work but the x pipe is going to be difficult. I sax a picture with an h-pipe just below the transmission and then the pipes routed next to the driveshaft. tia for the help

Vicfreg 773 Report post Posted October 28, 2021 Yeah....no road miles yet. After Mike (latoracing) got done with the floor work, I had the car put on a rotisserie and media blasted. Did the underside and firewall forward in black satin epoxy. A few years later, still looks great. I used a spray can to touch up underneath when Mike was doing the exhaust. My '68 was done the same way. 10 years later, still looks pretty darn good.

Mach1 Driver 560 Report post Posted December 30, 2021 Don't you love the look into open headers in that first pic? I noticed you wrapped the pipes to keep the temp down- are the pipes stainless? If not I've heard that it traps water and you get rust.
rr03cobra 3 Report post Posted January 7, 2022 the pipes are stainless. I didn't want them wrapped but he did it anyways. lol I'll just have to keep an eye on them
