Only interior lights i have are in sail panel and 2 underneath dash. Leave a little to be desired - just curios what others have done to brighten things up?

17x8/9 sc style wheels on 69 fastback??

I'm more partial to the classic rims - tt's or magnums myself. Btw - bad headlight swich will cause dash lights not to work -
Your also going to need a lite source for bulbs i guages, that dim with headlight. From what I remember there was an extra port you can plug into - trace the ashtray light wire or use that one.

At the4 very leasdt the paint store should have a book of swatches they can use to get close.

http://www.mustangsplus.com/catalog/2012/Mustangs%20Plus%202012%20Catalog.pdf Take a look at mustang plus catalog gives good illustation on loosing bal joints from spindles page 171. You really don't want to use a pickle fork. A BF hammer is what you want. Removing coils is probably the part that you need to be most concerned about. can be dangerous if not handled right.

I ended up removing the rubber stops on back of bottom seat to get a little more recline - made a lot of difference. Still a little too high but much better. -

Been looking at Fiero seats on craiglist. People are asking quite a bit for them. I did find a set that the guy only wanted $40 but a 3 hour drive. All others are going for $300 plus. I'll just have to keep my eye open for them -

Mr Mikes do look nice - was eyeing those before. I did not see anything on his site that have the comfort weave style the 69/70 have. really don't want to swap out back too. I've got a call into him. -

Decided to take out out fronts and go to regular mach 1 seats and not sports version and reusing my old foam. The tmi sports seats sit too high. I tried keeping cinder blocks on seats this week as car sat in garage. Came down a little but definitely not comfortable. Feel like sitting too close and too high. I like the a lower seat. Plus not crazy with wrinkles - could live with that but all things together not happy with them. Just have to see if CJ will take back. -
Big price difference between ford racing and engine factory. Not sure I could justify the extra cash.

I used fordstokers for my 347 - had it narrowed down to Keith Craft, Smeeding, Engine Factory, and Ford Stokers. All had good reputations. Finally went with Fordstokers cause they were within driving distance. Very happy with the purchase - no regrets.

I'm running a XE 274 Comp cam and my valve train is noisey also. I had it checked by local engine builder and he said it was normal and some cams are noisier than otheres. I did a search on Comp Cam XE cams and found a lot of posts on having similiar complaints. You did not menton it but I'm assumiong you are running and Xetreme energy cams also. -
I had the wrinkles and it definitely sits higher. Not sure if it was the sport foam or just new foam compared to 40 year foam. I'm hoping it comes down a bit. I'm 5 10 and head is abut 1 1/2 fro headliner.

Yes - don't forget to put new axle seals. When I did mine it was about a 2 hour job -

That why I wnet with center section on ebay - inthe long run about the same or maybe even less and the person I got if from had a lot of good feeback. Really did not know anyone locally that could do it and I was concerned about backlash setting as BigDuke mentioned. I would not go with anything Taller (higher number) 3.5 with a c4. Running 3.44s and getting about 3k RPM -
