  1. Seat belts. http://www.ebay.com/itm/1965-1966-1967-1968-1969-1970-Shelby-Mustang-Seat-Belts-Smoke-Grey-Belt-/252125737580?hash=item3ab3dd726c:g:B1UAAOSwYHxWHxGt&vxp=mtr
  2. I may have what you are looking for. Are you talking about the stainless roof rail drip moldings? I have a set off a November build 69 Grande that had a vinyl top.
  3. I have a pair of 69 end caps, they came off a Grande and have the holes for the bright trim.
  4. I bought Plasma LED bulbs from West Coast Classic Cougar. The running lights are twice as bright as the1157 standard bulbs. I also had to use an electro mechanical flasher (X2 regular and emergency). The lenses are original ford tooling, painted the reflectors chrome silver. They are unbelievably bright. Watch the video on the same site. http://www2.cougarpartscatalog.com/plasma2.html
  5. Just installed a RetroSound Quad 4 amp. I connected it to a RetroSound Malibu radio. Had to get creative on where to put the amp, I ended up making brackets and put it behind the passenger side dash panel just above the A/C unit. The unit is fantastic, really brought radio to life. I put Tweeters in the old dash speaker frame, and have 4 x 6 speakers in the kick panel / vents with 6 x 9.in the trap door (previously cut before I got it). Also a hats off to Dan at Chocko Stang on the box rebuild, he did an excellent job and much less than a aftermarket replacement. About a 5 day turnaround.
  6. Looking at replacing aluminium door sills. CJ Pony lists three, Economy. Original Ford Tooling, Stainless. I am open for suggestions. Would like to see pictures of the stainless if anyone has used them. Thanks, Ed.
  7. I have a 1969 FMX out of a parts car. Been years since it was ran, will need rebuilt. Dont have torque converter. Whats it worth? Also have crossmember. Thanks, ED
  8. I am on my second Retrosound unit. The Model 1 was great but upgraded to a Malibu unit. Sound is great, looks and fit are second to none. Will pass easily for a Factory radio. As an added bonus the Bluetooth is like a new car. Adding a retrosound Quad 4 amp over the winter. Retrosound stuff is hard to beat. Crutchfield will deal on radio and has amp on sale for $139 and free shipping!
  9. For sale 1969 Grande stainless roof drip molding for vinyl top. Also have the stainless weatherstrip molding holder . Both are for left and right.
  10. AR 500 Magnums 17 x 8 all the way around, 4.75" BS. 245/45/17 Tires. Custom factory centercaps. 520lb. 1" lower springs in the front, 1" blocks in the rear, Factory Boss 302 sway bars front and rear, with urethane bushings. KYB Gas adjusts.
  11. These are the tail light bulbs I am using. http://www2.cougarpartscatalog.com/plasma2.html I did have to buy an electronic flasher at O' Reilly auto parts. The running lights are brighter than the standard 1157 brake lights.
  12. I have dealt with USAA where I work. They were the most difficult insurance company to deal with. Their insured hit a large light pole, sheared the concrete base off flush with the ground, light pole landed on top of car, they rolled the pole off the car and left the scene. Police found car at local motel. The light was less than a year old, took forever for them to return calls, ended up fixing with our own funds. When they finally contacted me they wanted to reimburse us at half at what the repair cost. The repair was done by a contractor, I has no say on what they charged. The finally paid after six months. The local states attorney had to get it resolved. I would contemplate hiring an attorney.
  13. Looks like early style motor mounts.
  14. Who makes the best Repo roof ornaments for the 69 Fastback? Thanks, ED
  15. I just installed a Retrosound Malibu. The fit and sound is great. I got mine from Crutchfield I talked them down to $259.00 shipped. I had a Retrosound Model 1 before that and just wanted to upgrade. The new radio has Bluetooth so I can connect it with my phone. ED
  16. My wheels are semi polished aluminum on the back. No chrome. I fabricated backing plates to attach repo oem style center caps. I am pleased with my wheels and the way they are holding up.
  17. This is where I bought mine a while back, Fastlane Speed and Rod Shop. I think they were around $1250 for all four and he included lug nuts and nice valve stems. They shot me the best price at the time. I do know that the factory Magnum 500 lug nuts wont work with these wheels. The shop is located close to the American Racing factory. Took a little over 4 weeks to get them. ED
  18. Looking at the 13" cobra brake kits, let me know how the new wheels fit. Probably will go with the Mustang Steve caliper brackets and piece the rest of the install together
  19. No, I had the 2004 Mach 1's on there with 5.75" bs with the 1" billet spacers and had no issues so I went back with the 4.75" bs and have more room on the upper ball joint than I had with the Mach 1 wheels. Actually the clamp on wheel weights rubbed the ball joint slightly with the Mach 1 wheels. I also have a space saver spare tire and wheel that fits with a 1" spacer and would clear 13" brakes if anyone is interested. ED
  20. I have a plain 69 pass. side panel. PM for details. ED
