Working on tidying up engine compartment, need pictures of hood scoop turn signal wiring. More specifically from front harness plug around master cylinder to where the wiring runs and fastened to underside of hood to where the bulb sockets plug into scoop turn signal housings. Ed

Have questions on headers and exhaust, 1969, 302, C4, PS, Fastback. I have set of 4 tube FPA headers ordered. Purchased JBA 40-2650 exhaust, going to replace JBA mufflers with Dynomax 17733 (2 1/2 in and out way quieter). Not sure on what to use to connect headers and exhaust. Do I buy a JBA H-Pipe 6610SH and modify it to fit or purchase 2 1/2 ss tubing from Summit racing and do without a crossover? Has anyone used this setup or something similar? Any thoughts, suggestions, experiences would be appreciated.

Looking for original JBA slave cylinder drop bracket. Pertronix I guess has bought JBA headers. JBA at one time had a very heavy duty bracket . I looked on their website and the bracket that they sell now looks like soothing you would buy from JC Whitney, very cheap looking. Part number is still same though, 6656 P. Thanks, Ed

What alignment specs would be a good suggestion for my setup? 69 Fastback Power steering 1" lowering springs (no shelby drop) 245/45/17 Tires 17 x 8 AR500 wheels 4.75 backspace Had some upper ball joint issues and put new Moog ones in, way tighter than what I had. Thanks, Ed

Looking for part #'s for 1969, 302 motor mounts. Or a supplier for the correct height. Car I am working on , the fan is barely missing lower radiator hose and transmission lines. Fan shroud (AC car) has bottom completely missing. Thanks, Ed

I bought a apperance blem battery from a local battery supply. It is an 24F Exide AGM (absorbed glass mat), painted it black and put a repo Autolite cover on it. Works great. Put maintainer on it once a month or so.

Yes it will fit. I am on my second RetroSound radio. I had a model 1 and had a speaker short and burnt the amp section out of it. Purchased a Malibu to replace it, the fit was 10x better. I also added a RetroSound Quad 4 Amplifier. Made a custom bracket and put it behind the pass side dash panel. Fit is good, also have A/C and had room. Ed

They have changed suppliers, got a recall ticket and sending back for refund. Monday got a little better!

Received 1969 hood scoop signal wiring harness (plug and wires that connect bulbs to scoop) to replace factory wiring harness that the insulating sleeves are almost gone. What they show in the catalog is not what I got. I have no idea what this harness fits, it is NOT a alloy metal products harness as advertised / stated over the phone when I ordered it, I specifically asked. It is most definitely a Monday.

I remember a gentleman by the name of Wayne Curry having a Black 1968 GT 500 Convertible with a 427 and factory AC. Slips my mind if it was auto or stick. This guy had the premier collection of Fords. Story on the GT 500 was that it was a Ford Executive car and that was the way he he had it built. Also he had a twin to this car but with 428.

Not to hack this thread but looking along same lines as to replacing front drums with disk. I have a set of 1969 Grande single piston calipers, rotors, spindles, but have been sitting for years. So my question is do buy replacement calipers, rotors and change spindle or put 4 piston KH brakes like Chockostang sells. Also there will be less metal brake line replacement going with Chockostangs setup. Which is a better system the single piston or the 4 piston? I know the Boss 302 track cars used 4 piston Thunderbird calipers. Currently have 17" American Racing Ar500's but also have full set of 14 x 7 Maguum 500's that I switch back for certain shows.

Getting ready to change fluid / filter on my C4, 1969 version. Would like to go with a deeper pan. I noticed that on a 1970 and up that Mustang II and Bronco used a a deeper pan along with trans filters having a lower pick up. Would there be a problem not having an extended pickup if I went with a deeper pan without the deeper pickup filter? There are no extended pickup filters available to fit the 1969 valve body, just the 1970 and up.
