  1. ^^^^^ This is true. I purchased my Sanderson FC-4's w/coating (Century Performance )on 5/29 and they arrived yesterday. It took exactly 4 weeks. They fed me the same line as they did Cupid and yes they took my $$$ up front. I think they're worth the wait. They sure are pretty and the only thing I found that would work with my combo. The guy at Century was cool too.
  2. Is anyone running the Edelbrock 351c Performer RPM airgap intake manifold? If so, are you using stock motor mounts and air cleaner or custom pieces? Basically, whats your setup? Thanks! Jim PS: I'm not running a shaker.
  3. Nice video work. How long did it take you to make? Your car is looking good too.
  4. The 1971 351w I built last year had a deck height of 9.503". Your '72 should be the same height. I ended up zero decking my block to my pistons and had .020 milled off. I don't think you'll have any issues running the '69 internals in the '72. Compression will be lower and you'll lose a little bit of power...I doubt you'll notice.
  5. Very cool! I may see if you can do one for me too. If so, I'll send you the info requsted.
  6. Scott, can you please post pictures comparing the two. I'm swapping a 351W with a 351C and was going to reuse my 351W zbar. Where exactly is the differance between the two? Thanks. Jim
  7. Nice looking seats, but I think they're 1969 and not 1970's. '70's have the seat back release lever towards the bottom and not in the middle like yours. Anyway, This is a good thing since there's more 69 stangs on this site an '70's and those seats fit and look good in either year IMHO.
  8. 1969Mustang, I'm running original Magnum 500's 15x7 with 4" BS all the way around. Palerider, I'm running 4-1/2 Mid-eye Grab-A-track (175 lb/in spring rate), which lower the rear 1" and 1" lowering springs w/550# rate up front. KYB GR-2 shocks on all four corners. Friends who ride with me are amazed at how well it rides and handles. The 255's rub just a little and my front finders have the Boss lip roll.
  9. I'm running 255's on the back and 235's on the front. See pictures in my pix link below. My car is lowered 1" ft and back. The rear tires rub a little when I hit dips in the road. When I burn the 255's off I'm going with 235's all the way around. I personally wouldn't go with anything smaller.
  10. Very Cool video! Ford's Drag Team of the 60's has 69 Mustangs with a 428SCJ and 427SOHC Awesome vintage drag race footage.
  11. I've seen NOS parts with the part numbers stenciled with white paint on them. I've seen them with black paint too.
  12. Nice Job and Congrats! I know the "Finally" felling you have. I had it about 18 months ago.
  13. I think it's a great site too. Thank you for posting it.
  14. If they were mine I'd build the Acapulco Blue 390 Big Block w/4-speed. I love the color and Big Blocks with 4-speeds just rock. It probably has a Nodular 31 spline rear-end too. I doubt you'll make any money restoring either one of these two unless you do all the work yourself...then again your time is money too. Let us know which one you end up keeping and post the one for sale in the classified area. Someone here may want it. Maybe me. ;-)

    My '70 Mach

If you decided to part the engine I'd like to buy the intake. I'm also looking to replace my close ratio for a wide ratio. I bet shipping to TX would be expensive.
  16. I used the Wesco retractable 3 point setup. It's sensitive, but works nice and was easy to install using factory bolt holes.
  17. Hi, I'm looking to buy a good 4 speed (wide ratio, 28 spline) toploader transmission. It should have one of the following ID tag numbers RUG AV, RUG AV1 or RUG E3. I have a rebuilt (2500 miles) RUG-AG Close Ratio transmission that I would consider trading. Thanks. Jim
  18. Welcome Ash. Thanks for sharing your story and builds. Please keep the progress pictures coming. :-) You aren't going keep the 70 hood strips, are you? IMO the coolest option on the '69's were the blacked out hood. Regardless, you have 2 very cool Stangs! Jim
