  1. Going to hire a security guard ,get a tracker and stand over it with a shot gun .This one aint goin no where with out me knowing where it is .
  2. Lots of pics are missing ,and i don't seem to have them any longer ,but i will fill in what i do have . When i can't find what i am looking for I usually just give up and ...cry for HELP!
  3. Been a while since i have been here LOL. Woo Hoo ,i found a 4 speed finally .I am doing some trading of body work for a 64 1/2 mustang and a 67 top loader with a hurst Shifter already installed. The 64 1/2 is very rough but it may be good enough to do a nother fast back conversion. It still has a very nice set of 64 1/2 headlight buckets and there is a bunch of new old stock ford parts inside it . I will send this 4 speed out to another buddy for rebuilding...totally different guy so this 4 speed will not disappear ..I know where he lives HAHAHA. Looks like i need to redo some pics . Thats right i am actually ,possibly, maybe starting in on it again .
  4. I have tried search and nothing ,i am trying to find my 69 Shelby replica thread and cant find it ....computer stupid this one is !! Help me Mr. Wizard !
  5. Ronnie broad head has died .A few of you locals may have met him . He was a record setter drag racer in the early 60s. In 1963 he was the points winning champion and just an all around nice guy and friend . A piece of racing history is now gone . Here is the 1964 Hot Rod Magazine article .I always wanted to get it autographed ,but the one time i mentioned it he just chuckled .Good by Ronnie, you will be missed .
  6. That looks great .The black top really goes nicely with Candy Apple Red .
  7. I bought a Cobra dash cam that i have been using in the expedition ,i can't wait to use it in one of the Mustangs or the 35 .With the program you can down load you can even freeze a pic from the video .I almost got ran into the first day i used it ,from a guy running a red light right in front of me .
  8. I thought it was to let the cat out ?
  9. Well ,it was a nice day there .There is never any Ford parts ...you could close your eyes and throw a rock and it would bounce off of three chevy parts and come to rest on another chevy part .If you did have a Ford part for sale you would get mauled from people wanting it . In other words ,you didn't miss a thing RPM...NOT A THING!!!!
  10. We are going to chance it any way ,when has the weather man been right HAHA. Just leaving now.
  11. We will park in the east side parking lot ,we always come in from American off of Golden state and it is the first lot you come to .There is always some one out front waving you in .Dibs on all 35 -37 Ford pick up parts LOL!
  12. May take you up on that... if i could pay for the space used . May make a few hoods and bring them out . I will be going to the swap meet tomorrow ,just to walk through .Should be there somewhere around 8 in the morning ,i have to pick up my nephew in the morning . I don't usually use my cell but i will keep it with me tomorrow ,my number is 719 -7311 There is a couple of things i see there everythime i go that i need to pick up this time ,looks like i may have a use for them this time . Jim
  13. You have some weird roads over there ,how do you keep the car on it HAHA!!
  14. I did a set of Hooker cross over headers in a 67 Shelby with a 428 ,we used the Cobra t pan .The headers had to set in the engine compartment and installed as the motor was dropped in place .They cleared great and really wasn't to big of a deal installing .I finished bolting them up with the motor lifted slightly or they would have been a pain in the butt to get to some of the bolts .
  15. Yep ,insulation in place and they fit nice and tight . I dont think there is any way they will rattle because they are tight .I fit both sides just to make sure . One thing i noticed ,i have 3 69 fast backs and the curved piece with the shark teeth that holds the headliner at the front of the panels is in a slightly different place in all three cars
  16. Had dealings with ..is that a good thing ,or a bad thing.. LOL!
  17. That probably did it ,i will have to put something behind my panels ans see ,it doesn't look like it needs much to hold it out .
  18. Not much of a beer drinker ,but i could stand a Karls JR burger and a Dr.pepper after in Selma . It may rain and if it does ,or looks like it may i will probably just walk through also ,the 66 has bare metal on the front fenders . I would like to make it to some of the Turlok swap meets also this year ,I haven't been to one in quite a while .
  19. It is the Shelby roll bar and cover ,I also have the covers .There is a slot that gets cut in the seat panel for the roll bar to slip through ,the cover covers the slot . Send me a PM if you need anything . Jim I was thinking that the insulation that goes behind the sail panel may be all that is needed ,i do not have any thing there yet and that would make them tight in my 69 . Yo MikeStang ,did you have insulation behind your panels ?
  20. yes that area has an internal plate inside for extra support ,it is a notch at the rear of the rocker .It is designed for the factory jack not to slip . the rocker its self is still just the outer layer and you will usually see where someone has placed a bottle jack there and a nice big round dent is easy to see . I believe the rear torque box is also a part of the factory jack location .
  21. It's a 37 Ford pick up side panel ,i collect 35 -37 Ford pick ups and parts .This one is my baby ...aint she sweet ??? Soon to be painted gulf stream Aqua ...but i have been saying that since 1999
  22. Here is another pic ,for some reason it wouldn't let me post more than two
