  1. Sounds like a good project. The repro ones don't have the metal rings that hold the light in and the hook always comes away from the backing.
  2. Nice work Ridge. What's the price for the hockey sticks.
  3. Hay Ridge Runner , Do you make the hockey stick pieces that fit under the quarter sails .
  4. Gulf Stream Aqua is a nice colour if you want to go for a metallic option. I do like calypso coral though.
  5. I had issues with one of my magnum 500 I purchased through CJs . Being a 2 piece welded rim they are ever gonna be as good to balance as an alloy . The guys who balanced mine ended up taking the tyre back of the rim and rotating it until it was acceptable.
  6. nothing worse than buying a reproduction part thats a piece of shit. Ive bought plenty over the years . We need to get a spreadsheet on repo parts going so guys dont get burnt in the future buying inferior parts.
  7. Some things will never change. Ditch the fat chicks lol. Cheers Brian .
  8. Im looking at converting my mach 1 to a shaker from the standard scoop. Just wondering why some shakers have snorkels and some dont.
  9. I have just started stripping down my mach1 for fresh paint and some panel work. I need a new hood so I was thinking about going from the standard scoop hood to a shaker . Will this devalue the car or should I stay original?
  10. Have to agree Barnett . The amount of american muscle that has come down under in the last ten years is mind blowing. When going to a few local car shows the majority of cars are US cars.. They seem to be cheaper to purchase than Aussie muscle cars. Thats what i found and thats why I imported my 69 mach 1.
  11. I have read on a few older forums that the reproduction Scott Drake trunk letters with pins are not the best. Once fitted in the holes they are all over the place. Does anyone know if this has been fixed .
  12. Thanks for your review Raven . Looks like the Mustang Market stripe kit will work fine.
  13. Barnett what quickful carb do you recommend for a warm 351w
  14. When selecting a carby you can use a carby calculator for the size. Holley has one on there site and most other brands will do as well. A lot of people over carb there cars. Especially if it's a stock set up. I'm running a edelbrock 650 thunder series on my 351w and it's been a pig straight out the box . I purchased the edelbrock spring and rod tuning kit and it has made it slightly better but it's not perfect . I was thinking about swapping it for a quick fuel carb.
  15. Nice to see you can swap between standard and sequential. I have been running the standard mustang project LEDs for a few years now with no issues but the digi-tails sure look cool .
  16. Ok cheers Raven , I will wait until I hear some feedback from you before I purchase.
  17. These kits are heaps cheaper than martiauto and NPD concours style. Thanks for the link Raven . Has anyone used these stipe kits from mustang market? good or bad . Claim to be a ford licenced product.
  18. Can't wait to see it painted up and on the stang
  19. Can't wait to see it painted up on the stang
  20. I have noticed when I start my car that the internal lights flicker a bit . There dull one second and then go bright and continue to do this. Does this mean that the voltage regulator is faulty. Is there any way to test them?
  21. Thanks for that fordguy69 . Maybe the Aeromotive Phantom is worth a look.
  22. . As my car may sit for weeks it's a bit of a pain to prime up the carby. Can I run a inline electric priming pump while still using my mechanical pump. Once primed just turn it off relying on the mechanical. I didn't really want to go full electric fuel pumps as they are very loud.
  23. Thanks for the replies guys. With any of these kits will I need to swap out the power brake master cylinder and booster or can I use the ones in the stang.
  24. My 69 mach1 has the standard power disc brake up front and I was looking at doing an upgrade. I'm running 15x7 magnums . Any suggestions ? Will I need to upgrade the booster and master cylinder or can I use the standard issue as they are only a couple of years old.
