stangnet33 got a reaction from Robertaluch in Floor mats
My floor mats are in need of being refurbishing. I'm checking to see if anyone has had any luck recoloring/dying theirs. Hard to see in the pic's but in places it looks like when you bend a piece of colored plastic you get that washed out/discolored look. Any suggestions appreciated.

stangnet33 got a reaction from JimmyByday in Lower dash radio rear mount
Looking to see if anyone has any pics of a few areas of what the dash should look like as mine appears to have been modified. Also there is a bracket on the drivers side right beside the radio that looks like it may hold something like a flasher relay or something similar. Not sure if that is factory or not. Then on the front of the radio opening a bracket has been cut up as well.
The rear radio mount:
You can see both the relay bracket and radio mount:
This front bracket seems to have been hacked also:

stangnet33 got a reaction from AlexissRet in front fender apron measurements - please !
Well I'm sure glad I found this site. Can't believe I haven't come across it sooner. I own a '69 Mach and starting to get ready to restore it (again). I'm going to be doing all the work myself now that I have my own garage. Long story short I was having a body shop replacing my front aprons until I caught them on how they were going about it. So I pulled the car out of there and its been sitting ever since. Now my brother has finally shamed me into get going on it. I would like to have some reference measurements for when i put on the new ones (like across at different points). I have nothing from when it was original seeing I wasn't the one doing it then. I have the spec sheet for the framing measurements of a '70 that are floating around out there, but nothing for the aprons. I hope to have better luck here compared to some other mustang forums which I've had zero responses :001_unsure: What better than a year specific mustang site ! I will be starting a progress build post once I get a few more things in place.

stangnet33 got a reaction from Raven R code in How to remove steering shaft from the column?.
Just took mine apart awhile ago, a couple of pic's vs trying to explain. They appear to do nothing on mine but maybe for tilt columns ? I will have to look in my manual to check and see. Hope this helps some.

Check this link about half way down for some interesting info regarding the trunk and spoiler facts. There is also other good info/facts regarding '69/'70 parts

Do you have access to a tap & die set and slide hammer ? I have a couple of small slide hammers just for this purpose of pulling automatic pumps but any slider will work. Tap 2 of the pumps mounting holes ( don't go into the case) across from each other and use a bolt attached to the hammer. Hope that makes sense

Wonder if the starter stayed engaged while the engine was running. Other than that, good to see all is well. Nice scenic pic, looks beautiful there !
