  1. I hope this helps you with your project. The photos are of my '69 Coupe Radio Bezel. Not sure if it's the same as the Mach. Good Luck.
  2. Before I lay the carpet down, I need to mount the Hign Beam Floor Switch. I took a picture of how I think it should be mounted. Is this close to where it should go and will it be mounted correctly? Thanks
  3. Fantastic looking Coupe. Your doing a real nice job.
  4. Since I have had her home for two weeks now, I have been doing a lot of cleaning up after lots of bodyshop dust. So after getting quotes of $250/$300 to install my $40 NPD Headliner and learning as much as I could on line, I decided I could tackle this project myself. Have to shout out to JKSKINSFAN for posting his Headliner Project recently. That was a BIG help. I wound up buying HUSHMAT on the roof. Gotta say I was very happy with the outcome. It did take me about 10 hours to do. I also had time to install the rear tail lights, MUSTANG trunk lettering, the trunk lock and trunk seal/bumpers. Next on the hit list gonna install the HUSHMAT on the floor and install the carpet.
  5. Perfect timing for your project post. I just finished lining the roof with HUSHMAT today in preparation to putting my headliner in next weekend. I have a coupe but the same basic priciples apply. I took my bows out some 9 years ago an had no idea that I should have marked the holes or the rods. This post will help a great deal. THANK YOU!
  6. Hey Nab you have a decent passenger side sport mirror in good shape for a 69/70. I need pretty fast. Thanks
  7. Looking good. Very happy for you. I know about the long wait. Enjoy!
  8. I need in good condition, please help. Thanks
  9. After 9 years in the making now, Chelby-Ann is PAINTED. 4 coats of Sterling Gray Metallic and 3 coats of clear. I have not seen the car in person yet but the pictures I got were awesome. Looks like I'll be able to pick her up next weekend and begin putting her back together.
  10. Nice Job Miketyler. Now go and enjoy all that hard work.
  11. Happy 4th All. So while I wait for my '69 coupe to come back from the paint shop, I am working on all of my stainless steel trim. I have the body shop cleaning up the back window of the coupe to receive '70 coupe stainless steel trim. I did not like or want the fat trim that my car came with due to the vinyl top. I scored some really nice trim. I have been hand sanding and polishing the trim for awhile now. It takes patience and time. I u-tubed some instructional videos to help me along the way. I also bought Eastwoods polishing kit along with the buff motor. I am so pleased with the outcome of the first of 4 sections. Dont be fooled it is hard work and takes a long time. But if you want that trim to pop off that nice new paint job well, its worth it. The trim did not have any dents to hammer out but plenty of deep scratches that the 320 paper took out. The polished trim looks like new again. I hope the pictures do the hard work some justice. The first piece of trim (to the left) is finished and polished. I hope you can tell the difference in the pictures. The ones of the car are to show the finished back window area. Should have the car back at the end of July.
  12. WOW!!! Nice Ride!!! Looks to be Flawless!!! Love the Engine Bay!!!
  13. Would you share the website that you resistered with. Thanks
  14. I like that project write up. Nice work and Great Mod. Thanks for sharing
  15. I'd like to save a bunch of money by reusing the "red" interior trim pieces I have. The parts I am talking about are the two pillars, dash radio trim caps and the dash end trim molding. My interior will be all black. Has anyone already stained their interior parts? If so what did you use and how were the results. Or should I just give them a real good cleaning and spray them black and clear coat them. Thanks in advance. Bill
  16. I got a chance to visit the shop on Friday and much to my surprise the car is getting its final wet sand/blocking. The underside of the hood, trunk, doors and door jambs have a coat of Sterling Gray Metallic on them. She should be home soon. A very exciting moment. The fellas out at JSL Motorsports are doing a flawless job. Well worth the wait since January 29th.
  17. I have a full set of rear window trim from a 1970 Mustang Coupe for sale. PM me if interested. They are in decent shape however they will need some attention as they have some scratches. Not bad for 40+ year old trim. Some of the plastic clips/legs? are broken/missing.
  18. This was a fairly simple project to do. I purchased a new heater core, seal kit and strip caulk from CJ Pony, a new AC Delco Blower motor from Rock Auto. Took pictures all the way thru the tear down so I would remember how it all goes back. I'm turnig 50 on Friday (5/31) so my memory is not so good anymore. The air director or whatever that thing is really called was all rusted out so I bought me a little 18" bench top sheet metal break from Harbor Freight and made a new one. Measured and transferred all the dimensions on a piece of paper, then transfered all the lines to the sheet metal. Gotto tell you, it came out better than I thought. Spent a few hours saoking and scrubbing the fiberglass box itself with warm water and AWESOME. Looking brand new now. Picked up a used squirrel cage at a local salvage yard. I chose to bolt the unit back together rather than using rivits. Overall I was very pleased with the rebuilt heaterbox. There are 2 threads with pictures. Wanted to share as much as I could.
  19. I just open my CJ Pony box and right you are. Too big. Damn. Anyone know who has the right sized non ac blower cage.
  20. Hey Kev, I am in the middle of rebuilding my heater box and needed a new motor and squirrel cage. Ordered the motor from Rock Auto and ordered the squirrel cage from CJ Pony, Part number CAA4108 for $29.99. Hope that helps. no a/c in my car.
