It's funny how they never come back with a response an honest person would have , like , Excuse me??? Who do you think you are?? My brother in law is kind of a pacifist in ways and he handles it totally different than me, he likes to keep draggin them along and negotiate with them making them think there getting close to a deal just to frustrate them, all the while laughing about it. Yeah, he's probably gonna live longer than me, my guess.

I like the look you got there. I think it makes it look more like real wood. Was it a spray can or what? Great idea if you like the woodgrain look, I know there is a crowd out there that dose'nt, but I do.

1967/68 replica Shelby GT350 wheels with tires. Wheels are in good condition overall, some discoloration from a wheel cleaner of some sort, and the tires are just about new. They have the shelby logo in the center caps.I bought them without really thinking it through, and after mounting them on my 69 I don't like them. They look to small to me. They are 15 inch. I'm feeling pretty lazy on the couch at the moment so if any interest out there I'll get the rest of the details for you later. How's about $500. I'd be willing to help ship them if you pay for it. Same here. It took many an hour to come to that decision. Probably subject to change, but ive stuck on that color combo for about 8 months. Flat black hood looks so awesome on a nice quality black paint job.:thumbup1:

I looked into this kit pretty hard before I decided to build my car back to stock but using roller perches. Since then I bought a 69 Mach, this one being an unmolested clean original. Now I'm reconsidering the build on the "sportsroof" car, since I have a nice stock version already. Any thoughts on your kit? How was the install? It seemed like a great option to bring the car more up to date in several ways, eliminate bumpsteer, bigger brakes, rack ...etc. Any info to share? Thanks ,Brian

I did this today and only took off about an 1/8th. I'll do it again and take off another 1/8 because the seat only reclined about an inch or two. Still better but not enough. Brian

Lean the seat forward and look at the back of the seat base, there are two round plastic spacers held to the seat with screws. Take them off and shave them down a bit, reinstall and see if you like thebnew angle. I intend to do this tomorrow. I'm going off a memory of about 20 years, so double check before you cut anything.

Thanks man! The first mustang that I fell for was yellow so I probably won't paint it. Besides the P.O. kept it SO nice it'd kill me to paint something that doesn't even need it. I mean the paint still looks new! I'll post some better photos soon. On a side note I came across some 04 Mach1 wheels for $150! So if I understand it correctly I just need a spacer kit to make these fit. Anybody think they would look good?..., they are all 17x8. I REALLY love the AR500 billet wheels but they are gonna be about 1200$ plus tires so these Mach 1 wheels are tempting, but I don't want to settle seeing this IS my dream car. (Well it's not a 428cj or BOSS but it's still a dream!):tongue: Brian

Welcome to the forum Neal, and thanks for your service. In regard to your doorskin/ doorshell question, check in the project progress section and look for ak70stang's build. He used a repo shell on one side and noticed that it "bows" out a little bit ( mabey 1/8th ) as compared to the other factory door is straight. Since seeing the pictures he posted I think I will spend a little time on my doors instead of buying repos.
