  1. Was looking for other options to the Z equalizer bar but keeping the top loader. So thanks to this site and the search engine as I went a calling today. Summary is: JMC as heard of - OUT OF STOCK, NO IDEA OF NEW VENDOR Kiesler Engr. make a hydraulic set up for T5's for $649 McLeod - Has the setup for $435. Comes with Wilwood unit. Requires "fabbing" of firewall bracket and push rod from clutch pedal to master. requires custom "fabbing" of a 4AN cable to feed the hydraulic throw out bearing. It's a start! I'll post part number when I recover the details as I left them at work... Wish I would have known this before I put the engine in!
  2. Not really at all. Going forward the car will be resto but before hand it was a stock 351W .30 over and no difference between the old mounts that let loose and the Poly one's. You will feel more via the steering than the vibration of the mounts in my view - just don't sit still at a light! :-)

  6. went with the 3G 140 AMP from March (Tuffstuff). Cost under $200 polished! Single wire... let's see what happens when I get her in the car with the motor - Thanks. Mine as well make it simple... (plus - no ext. Voltage Regulator)

  8. As I rebuild the engine I have a chance to upgrade the 60a Alt to a 2G or 3G offering. The key reason is more power as I will be running electric fans, HID lights etc... I realize that I will have to rework the regulator etc. but it appears CJ has a harness kit! What is the easiest way to go? 2G in the same size case? 3G? guidance requested.

  17. My "latest year" toy with the aluminum supercharged aluminum 5.4L aluminum dry sump aluminum engine from FOMOCO will only take the yellow stuff............... made for aluminum engine components. When I get my engine back......whenever I get my engine back it's going to be "yellow and mellow or clear time to fear"

  20. Now is the time to upgrade. I've put the Randalls Rack in this weekend, replaced the master and servo and seriously looking to upgrade from the "z" bar to other options. Would like to keep the Toploader if possible I know Wilwood make a hydraulic unit but with the resorvior I don't thing it will fit on the firewall.... I have experience with the cable clutch types from an 03 Cobra whic is nice with the quadrant adjuster etc. and just curious what others have done before me...
  21. They even have a counter for "parts" Must be full of "custom" milled pieces... even though they are in Scott Drake bags.. 70 Mach - let us know if this is the site - e-mail in draft format awaiting....
  22. On 4/12 and guess what.... when I got home a 53# box was awating for me.... Since it's going to rain Saturday - guess what I'm doing
  23. @#^*$%$ Still waiting for my Randall Rack... It's obviously quicker delivery to Switzerland than the east coast from Oregon.....
