  1. Hi Dave, I'm in the same situation in looking for heat insulating material for my 69. What was your solution to your heat coming from firewall? Did you use thermo tec or some other brand? Did you use dynamat or did you use the reproduction insulation? Please let us know how it turned out. Thank you Steve
  2. I went to my local autoparts store and noticed that they are selling yellow antifreeze made by Prestone. What are your thoughts on this, does it do more harm than good? Should I just stick with the green stuff? According to Prestone the yellow antifreeze has a formula with organic acid technology that supposedly prevents corrosion inside all types of radiators including aluminum radiators, which I'm running right now. They were saying that green stuff has phosphates in it makes the internal components corrode on the engine and the radiators as well. As opposed to yellow stuff which doesn't have phosphates. I'm kind of confused on the what antifreeze to choose now, please let me know your thoughts on this because I have plans on having cooling system flushed. Thank you.
  3. Hi all, I purchased a set of RCD/Bilstein Shocks for the front and rear. According to Race Car Dynamics, the HD are labeled as the Comfort shock and then the Sport and Race shocks. This car is going to be used for street/daily driving. I've got a Promotorsports negative wedge camber kit, 620# 1" front coil springs, TCP lower control arms and strut rods. The rear has the Global West Shackle bushing kit along with reverse eye leaf springs. Please let me know what your experiences have been with shocks, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
