tazjonez 10 Report post Posted September 25, 2013 those are going to be awesome rich! I can't wait to see the finished product in the back of my Mustang! Have you figured out my rollbar yet, not that you have enough to do already…
mustangstofear 608 Report post Posted September 25, 2013 I pretty much have the roll bar figured out. We had to make new upper brackets, but other than that we can use all the 65-68 parts.

mustangstofear 608 Report post Posted September 25, 2013 Now that we mocked up your tailpipes, I'll see about sending them to Stainless Works to have new ones mandrel bent. We have several customers wanting the same thing. We had hoped we could have went over the axle, but it was just to tight for comfort.
55Mach1 10 Report post Posted September 25, 2013 Here's a sneak peek at what the interior is going to look like. Rich are these being made from abs plastic or fiberglass? I like them i woder how much mod these would need for my car with deep tubs Will these parts only work with your headliner?
mustangstofear 608 Report post Posted September 26, 2013 I changed the style line where the sail meets the headliner to improve the look. So yes you have to us our sail panels and the a-pillar moldings. It's all made out of ABS plastic. The lowers were made off of OEM parts. If you have to modify your originals to fit, then you would have to do the same with ours. I looked at the A-pillar moldings they made, and I must say they are beautiful. Patriotgamez 14 Report post Posted October 4, 2013 The exterior trim and door handles...is it powder coated, anodized, black chrome?
tazjonez 10 Report post Posted October 4, 2013 All the trim and door handles were first powder coated black and then painted black with base coat and clear coat to match the rest of the car. That way there's a good tough powder coat underneath in case they get stone chipped.

mustangstofear 608 Report post Posted October 4, 2013 Next we'll pre drill the holes for the chin spoiler, then take the front valance off and paint it. The rest of the front end should start going back together next week.

tazjonez 10 Report post Posted October 9, 2013 got some pictures from Mustangs to Fear showing my kick panel speakers in the 69th fastback. I'm not sure what to think about them as the speaker on the driver side looks like it will interfere with the emergency brake pedal and the dimmer switch. I'm considering going back to the stock panel and having the speakers mounted in the original place inside the doors. I'm curious what others would do in my situation? tazjonez 10 Report post Posted October 9, 2013 the new rear seat panels are ready to go. Just waiting for them to finish the overhead headliner with the overhead console so that all of the interior pieces can be installed including the dash etc.
mustangstofear 608 Report post Posted October 9, 2013 We started making our own kickpanels last year. What we were going to do since you know longer have a fresh vent on either side, was eliminate the vent in the panel and the lever to open it up. Then move the speaker clear up to the top under the dash and out of the way.
tazjonez 10 Report post Posted October 9, 2013 I think that is the way to go, I noticed that the vent part of the kick panel was a lot higher and out-of-the-way. I imagine that you have quite a few more projects with priority over the kick panels for this 69 Mustang?
tazjonez 10 Report post Posted October 14, 2013 some more pictures…
Angel 24 Report post Posted October 14, 2013 Ive had those kick panel speakers for about 4 years now and I never had a problem with them. They don't interfere with the dimmer or the e-brake. I do have to be conscious of it though.
mustangstofear 608 Report post Posted October 14, 2013 I don't know what brand you have, but you can clearly see that the driver side you wouldn't be able to you the E-brake, and you would always be kicking the panel to get to the dimmer switch.
