  1. Sorry, I don't know what happened to all the pictures. I'll see if I can add them to my album. Quick update, All the wiring for the lights are done and all the lights are installed and actually work! Actually all the wiring is done minus speaker wires. Just need to buy some speaker wire and run something to the trunk for an amp. I've been driving it around the neighborhood trying to get the refi just right. Sunday I took it out on the road next to the house putting around in second at about 15 mph and decided to see what she would do if i opened her up for a second...gave her some gas and spun both tires through the whole gear, there was no traffic btw. Probably would have kept spinning in third but I'd rather not loose the her before I get it registered... Plus I wasn't sure how fast I was actually going (NVU electric speedo needs to be calibrated) and there's no windshield. She kept pretty straight so I guess the yukon track-lic and rod and customs 4 link work well for now. Things left to do: alignment finish installing vintage air get and install new front valance (old one got ran over...) install headliner install all interior panels install all glass get ready for power tour...
  2. So I got to drive it for the first time today..... Here's a link to the short video. The kids are going for a ride in the morning. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=bJz49GwqAA4
  3. If you're keeping it, do what makes you happy. If you're going to sell after you're done with the resto/mod, I would keep all the original stuff as previously mentioned. In the end It's your car and money to spend how ever your want. Just make sure you drive and enjoy it.

  5. Will they give you anything? From what I've seen Mike at the auto hobby shop does great work. He has another shop off base but he's got a long wait list last I heard.
  6. Looks like it is going to be a fun project. Sounds like it will be a lot of fun when it's all done too!
  7. figured it out here's a link. it idles a little high because it's cold and i don't have water going through it yet so i can't run it very long. This is the second engine I've ever built and hopefully it lasts. Running with ez efi, converted to roller lifters, rpm air gap, and rhs heads. Sounds much better on the stereo or even better in person. Mufflers are flow master super 40's cause they were cheap but good. Smoke is just the paint on the headers. Here's the link:
  8. I'll figure out how to post a video of it.
  9. Ran the engine for the first time. Sounds great and strong
  10. I need to update my profile. We live in Navarre now and are about to close on about 9.5 acres up in milton. Where on Hurlburt do you work? I'm across from BK
  11. Where are you at? I've only been to Mustang Village once but it was to late and the had already shut the gate. I was going to see if they had a good passenger side front outer rocker metal up to the pillar. Mine has some damage and was bent up and in. Let me know if you plan on going to any of these shows around here. I would love to see the car and talk with you about it. Josh
  12. Good to hear your project is moving along. As far as Global West goes, I have their front coil over kit and all the powder coating is excellent. I hope I'm not the fluke. Everything seems stout and has a good finish (other than what I accidentally scuffed up).
  13. Now you know you have to post a pic of how she sits now.
  14. Yep, at least they didn't cost a whole lot:smile:
  15. Finally have most of the interior brackets welded and installed. after doing that I sprayed the Heat and noise reducer. the stuff dries pretty hard. I hope it doesn't flake off.
  16. I have upper and lower control arms with perches, springs, strut rods and a new pair of shocks to get rid of. No set price just make offer to include shipping. all are good candidates for being refinished/rebuilt. I pulled these off my 69 FB when I upgraded. Being sold as is.
  17. Take your time and do it once they way you want it, it cost less. Take lots of pictures step by step and organize them into folders. It will save countless hours when putting the things you keep back together. I got that same advice and thought I took enough… not quite. I'm just now starting to put my back together now and I wish I had better details. Guess I could always buy an assembly manual.
  18. Got the Globalwest negative role front suspension installed. I'll post some pics in a few. I think it turned out pretty nice. I can't wait to try it out. hopefully by the end of the year it will be all done and on the road!
  19. I posted this on another thread and realized it wasn't on mine so here is the shaved drip rail primed
  20. I took a pic today with a coat of primer on and this is how it turned out.
  21. I think I like it but it looks like Jag had some influence on the styling. I still like the 69FB best of all.
