Except the plugs Mike is asking about does not match the resister prong arrangement in the heater box.

Check your headlight switch to see when the switch is on if you have power to the headlights. You may have a bad headlight switch.

As far as I remember the wiring goes down along side the inside of the trunk drop offs & through the hole in them out to the back up lights.

I like the dash gauge panel, whose is it?

My First Car/Restoration: 69 Mustang Coupe

I am going to try to do a new door skin on my r/s door as the shell was fine, only the skin was rusted out. -
The standard rectangular clock uses the same harness as the Mach-1 round clock.

The door panels came out nice, looking good.:thumbup1:

Over on VMF Kelly H had a thread on the powerjection system she recently put on her 65 Fastback. I am also thinking of using this system on my 69 Coupe.

Nice, keep up the good work.

Hi everyone, I recently upgraded my welder from flux core to MIG & I have to get the gas from a local welding supply company so I can weld in the quarter skin. I need to know what gas & what mix of the gas to use. I was told by someone on another site 75%/25% argon/co2 mix, does that sound right? TIA, Mike.

Thanks Bill, its comming along. We had a couple days of mild 55 degrees days here in south Jersey so out came the Coupe & I cut the upper lip off the quarter skin & fitted & screwed it to the lip I left on the face of the old quarter panel, & clamped it. Looks like it will need a little tweaking for a better alignment to the door & the rear qaurter extension before I weld it in place. But for the most part it looks good I am happy with the fit & finish & thickness of the re-pop metal. Now off to the welding supply store for the gas for my newly upgraded welder. I went from flux core to MIG.

I do not think a Coupe trunk lid is available, & yes a 70 Coupe trunk lid will work. Mike.

This is right out of the 66 Mustang shop manual, 19-26 for the connecting sleves, & the tie rod ends is 30-40. It has a foot note for the last setting that says tighten to the low limit of the spec then tighten the nut to the nearest cotter pin slot & insert the cotter pin. Hope that helps. Mike.
