Online story about my Super Stock Mustang
Burn replied to rusty428cj's topic in 1969-70 Technical Forum
Very cool article. Congrats!!! -
I"m running the Sr.'s on my 351w and they work really well with my combo. I think they'd work even better on a stroker like yours because of the 200cc runners. Sorry, no Dyno numbers yet.

Team Hot Wheels - The Yellow Driver's World Record Jump
Burn replied to Burn's topic in Mustang Video and Misc Video
This is Awesome!!! Team Hot Wheels Yellow Driver, Tanner Foust, breaks the world record for distance jump in a four-wheeled vehicle before the Indianapolis 500 on May 29th 2011. Watch what it's like to drop 10 stories down 90 feet of orange track and soar 332 feet through the air. -
The door striker, trunk latch and the entire bottom of the car is blue??? Its a really nice looking car, but why a new paint job if only 10k miles are on the car? Maybe its 10K miles after a full resto.

I'd say rebuild your originals. I went aftermarket for mine and had to change one of the bushing because it was too sloopy and I had to grind one of the lower latches to fit the door. They work fine now, but if I had to do it again I would rebuild the originals.

I'm 5'6" so not sure which length would work best for you and your passenger. Without the sleeve the buckle keeps it from fall down between the seat and tunnel. Not a issue for me on my car. My only complaint is that the locking mechanism is super sensitive. It usually takes a few pulls across me to get it buckled because it wants to "lock" when I pull on it fast. I guess this is a good thing.

They're a direct bolt in. I got the 11" receiver. 8" would be too short unless your really tall and have the seat back really far. In my car I didnt use the ridgid sleves because it wasnt very flexable and it didnt fit nicely between the seat and tranny tunnel. I bought the hardware kit, but didnt use it. I used all my original bolts. I got the Item # WELR-L ones.

I got my 3 point retractable seat belts from Wesco Performance and love them. You can get the roller perches from Open tracker on ebay for a good price.

If those were black I'd be all over them. :(

I had some similar weird electrical issues before and it was because I had a low battery. Make sure yours is charged and reading around 12.8V.
