C-4 linkage is very straight forward adjustment. You should not un-hook your neutral safety switch. You do not want to accidentally start your car in gear and run someone over. Get it aligned properly and ensure your shifter is working properly. Un hook the linkage and put the transmission in park, then adjust the lingage and shifter. If the transmission won't go into park with the linkage off, the problem is likely in the transmission. If it goes in smoothly, check or rebuild the bushings in your shifter ($3part and some time)

I have about an inch between tire and fender. Hard to see in the pictures. The rear is almost dead center in the wheel well. I have the 1" lower springs in front and the 4 1/2 mid-eye leaf springs in the rear (supposed to be 1" lower, but I don't think so). A little too much gap for me, but I haven't made my mind up if I want to lower or put a higher profile tire on. Also, check tire height. A 245/45/17 is real close to a 285/40/17. A 245/40/17 and 275/40/17 will be almost an inch difference in height and would be noticable. Hope this helps, Dan

I am running these and they fit nice. No rolling, about 3/4" inside space. Front and rear even with each other. Front bfg kdw 245/45/17 on TTII's 17x8, 4 3/4 bs, rear bfg kdw 285/40/17 on TTII's 17x9.5, 5 1/2 bs dan

As mentioned by LindenBruce, you won't have enough weight to compress the spring. Go to your local parts store (Schucks out here) and get a spring compressor. I borrowed one by just putting a deposit down. They refunded it when I returned the tool. They have several tools available so you don't have to buy it for a one time use. This is one of the more risky processes in rebuilding a car. But thats just my 2c -

Use a spring compressor. It is too dangerous without one. I borrowed one from my local parts store with a deposit. -

If the cam is not a roller, you need to break it in under no load for at least 30 minutes keeping the rpm above 3K. In addition, you need special oil with the appropriate levels of zinc or you need an additive. Are you priming the oil pump? You will need to ensure you have the correct valve springs as well. -

Do like mentioned above, clean real well and use the adhesive Pakrat mentions. I would also add, to measure from each end where the pieces were glued to aid in alignment afterwords

If you don't have the press to put them back on, just take them to a shop. They will cut the old ones off and press new ones on. Most shops won't take the chance of it breaking their press, the just cut them off. I took mine in and got them back the same day.

Headlight Retaining Ring Spring Question

If I remember correctly, there are two tabs on the ring with holes in them. They slip over the spring end and then one screw completes the triangle for keeping the ring in place. There is no seperate set of springs. It is important that the spring end faces outward. It is fairly though to get it all in place. Hope this helps, Dan -

Paypal example, The seller is responsible for getting the item to the buyer in the condition it was described as in the listing even if no insurance was purchased. Paypal would refund the buyer. Insurance was purchased by the seller on behalf of the buyer, eventhough, the buyer actually paid for it. Hence, the response from the shipper. Rulling, Buyer would be refunded from seller and seller would collect from shipper that cause damage. In this case, the delay in inspecting for damages and the untimely filing of a claim contributed to the shipper denying responsibility. Shippers require inspection and claims to be in a specific time frame. If buyer accepted the delivery, ie ackowledge receipt of the item it is the buyers responsibility to inspect and report damages in a timely manner. Since the buyer did not report timely, the seller has no recorse with the shipper. Judge Judy would probably find in favor of the seller. If packaged really well, I don't think both parties were at falt, however, if both parties agree to 50/50, Judge Judy would be kinder in her closing remarks. On a side note, I purchased one of these from Mustangs Unlimited. It was packaged really well, and it still had a little crack on one of the edges, fortunately it is not noticeable. -
Those holes in the floor plan are for the access plugs to install your seat. You can work with them a little for more leg room, but be sure you can put the nut on the seat bolt from undereath the car. The seat platform will have smaller holes. They will be just large enough for the seat track bolts to go down through.

Mine is on the side. It does block a little of the gauges, but I can see the speedometer and the tach. I have oil and temp guages in the console.
