  1. Looks good. I still miss my 05 a little but im sure thatll change when the 70 is done! The saleen on the other hand not so much, I was glad to sell that thing. Fast car (418 stroker) with MSD atomic efi...but not my kinda car, only bought it because it came up cheap and made money on it. Smoked it around for a month last summer then sold her on.
  2. This is was what me and another guy did to my 2005 mustang during the winter of 2012. Car is now sold (sold it to buy an 88 saleen mustang). Which is now sold to buy my 70 fastback, lol. We did a custom two tone paint job, nothing to special but the stripe was kinda cool.
  3. I've been installing master power brakes for quite a while on customer cars. This kit uses stock 70 spindles, nice quality kit. Although it should be for $1300 !
  4. I went with the master power 'rallye' setup with 4 piston billet calipers, drilled and slotted rotors and stainless braided lines. I went this setup because they are designed to fit beind a 15" wheel but since then decided to go with 17"...oh well they should still look good.
  5. Got around to blasting and painting my spindles finally. Figured id bolt some goodies onto them just for the hell of it !!!
  6. Hey guys I have a pair of maximum motorsports wheel spacers for sale. I was planning to use these but went with deep dish rims and now I have to run 1" adapters instead. These are 3/8 cnc machined billet aluminum spacers. Ideal if your just wanting to bring you wheels out a little. I will post pictures later (photobucket is down at the moment) or I can email or text. I payed $70 for these, ill sell for $45. These are spacers so you will need longer studs.
  7. I wish I still worked at the other shop...well not really but I could have gotten measurements. I used to fabricate boss 429 shock towers, replicate originals and the owner sold them on ebay for $3500 a pair. I also used to make the boss 9 coil covers and we got a company to manufacture the brace you are talking about. That place was a joke, cowboy owner that short cutted everything. So happy I moved on to a real shop that actually takes pride in their work rather than just seeing $$$$$$$.
  8. A 315 on a 9.5 and you would have some sidewall bulge. I would say a 295 and if your backspacing is good you wont have to do anything. Maybe trim down your bumpstop bracket on the frame.
  9. I would say go for it. I just tried 10.5 " wheels on my car and they fit. I do have my quarter lips rolled but mine is lowered 3". My wheels were 6.9 backspacing.
  10. Nice to see a fastback go to England (my old stomping ground). Good luck on the build.
  11. I agree, my car isn't a mach and ive got many hours and money sunk into it and a lot of money and time left to go. Its a 70 fastback, my fav car...therefore worth saving!!!
  12. I wanted something cleaner looking but without really changing the looks. Something that somebody see's n thinks theres something different about it but cant put their finger on. Obviously a mustang guy will know right away. Just cleaning it up a little, im deleting the side markers also, I really don't like how big ford designed them on the 70 and the fact that one is horizontal and the other vertical, they are going. Thanks the for the kind comments guys.
  13. i finally have the a/c and everything else out. Bump for a trade.
  14. Looking to buy a clutch pedal for my 70 fastback. Converting from auto to manual, also need all other related hardware. I believe there is another small bracket for the spring and need the spring.
  15. So I thought id throw one on quick to see what it looks like. I think im going to stick with them, I like the look even better on the car and once the tail light panel gets blacked out will probably look even better.
