  1. Very nice looking ride. Also restomoding a 1969 coupe for my 16 year old son.
  2. Sweet victory!!!!! Man that thing was hard to remove! I had to use a little leverage to get it free. I guess after 45 years it didn't want to part with the rest of the car. Putting on the new one tomorrow after a little fresh paint on the steering column. Thanks again!
  3. Thanks guys! I tried with a wheel puller I bought off eBay and I don't the bolts quite fit. Went by autozone today and got their steering wheel puller with the 5/16 thread bolt. Crossing my fingers this thing works. Will update you later today. Again, much appreciated fellas! Special thanks Danno for the pic!
  4. Guys I could really use some help! I've been trying to remove and replace my steering wheel on my 69 fastback and can't seem to get it to pull free. I even used W-D40 near where the wheel slides onto the holding rod. Bugger won't budge with a steering wheel puller. Am I missing something?
  5. Nice looking wheels rwc, what color are you panting your pony?
  6. I'm sure this has probably been brought up before. New to the forum and couldn't find this topic. However, can someone tell me what's the largest size tire to fit an 18 inch rim and still tuck underneath the wheel wells? I'm wanting to run 18x8 up front and 18x 9.5 rear.
  7. Miketyler, that is an awesome looking stance!! How much coil cutting did you do? Would reverse eye leaf springs drop it that low?
  8. Couldn't get the pic to post so here is the website if you want to check out the stance of the car I want to achieve! http://www.forum.motokobiety.pl/ford,mustang,back,in,black,1977,124,4-9019-12397-jpg.html
  9. My first post here. I was wondering what would be the best option to dropping my 69 fastback to a lower stance without an air bag type suspension. I hope this pic will post; absolutely love this setup. It appears to have 20 inch American racing torque thrust rims. The front and rear brakes are drums.
