  6. Hello All, I am in the process of swapping drivetrains and upgrading breaking and suspension. I thought maybe I could throw out some of my thoughts and get some good input from this great forum. transplanting a supercharged V3 89 fox body EFI in with new painless harness, 5 speed (already have the modern driveline parts) 5.0 aluminum heads, Vortech V3, injectors, intake etc. going to use an tanks inc, EFI in tank pump (still don't know what size to get) The car has non power drum all the way around. I thought now might be a good time to upgrade the brakes and suspension. I am on a somewhat tight budget, but will be doing the work myself. I know they sell the R&P kits with disc brakes using the Mustang 2 suspension platform, but have heard mixed feelings about it. originality isn't important to me. My plans for the car are to have it lowered roughly 1-2" 17" wheels, be a great driver, and capable of occasionally doing an autocross or even the 1/4 mile. so I guess I am asking, what is the most cost/performance effective way to upgrade brakes and suspension for these cars? I know that hotchkis TVS kit is supposed to be nice. pics to come thanks! Joe
  7. Hello trying to replace my factory 2.79 ratio, thought the easiest way would be to switch with another 8'' since I just spend $300 on all new drums/hardware/ebrake crap/lines...(poor decision in hindsight) other option I guess is a 9'' or 8.8 and do some sort of conversion. let me know if you have anything for my 69 FB. thanks, Joe 856-685-3490 jmilchling@hotmail.com

  11. haha thats funny i can see how you would rather drive this car over the fiesta...i would love to drive mine daily, if i wasnt as worried about rust every time it rains.. i bought my car in 2013 spring, and the guy i bought it off of appeared to be making a race car also..cut a hole in the hood for blower. removed the heater (which i didnt know until after i bought it) disconnected brakes, was building a 351 Cleveleand for it but left in the 8" w 2.79 gear... i built a 302 roller motor for it w edelbrock intake an e cam, and a edelbrock 600cfm and am installing with the 4spd..hoping to make a cruiser out of it. Joe
