  1. Hi All;  I installed a RetroSound Model Two in March of 2015.  It works great, I am very happy with it. I have two Pioneer power amps mounted on a custom aluminum plate mounted behind the back set in the trunk.  Four focal speakers hidden in the dash. a JL Audio micro sub in the trunk and two Boston Acoustics 6x9's in the package tray.  No power issues here.  Before you send it back, with a voltmeter make sure you have 12 volts min connected main power to the radio. check the fuses.  Make sure the accessory wire is getting 12 volts min at the radio.  Make sure you have the ground wire properly grounded.  If all that is good, I would get a replacement. I'm struggling to figure out how the rocker panel moldings are attached to the rockers on my Mach. The moldings are original to the car but the car incurred some front end damage years ago and went through a repaint and assembly, none of which I did. When I removed them recently, I noted two screws in each molding, see picture. I've labeled the orientation of the pieces on the car, hole closest to the edge was at the front both sides. Looking at the Jim Osborn assembly manual, I see no screws passing through the molding itself. I'm wondering if someone ran screws through the moldings in order to secure them? Can someone advise?

If someone incorrectly ran screws through my moldings, they are damaged. I believe they could be repaired and recoated but not sure how costly. Also, I'm not finding the hardware to reconnect them. Thoughts?

The other option is I purchase re-pops. The re-pops come with all the attachment hardware, can anyone comment on the re-pops?

    Thanks,

    Hello

Have just installed the new Edelbrock pro flo 4 on my 351w and coulkd not be happier : First cranking = immediate start

The auto tune/learn function works very well and cold start and dieseling issues are gone. The engine is much smoother and even quieter.

I also installed the Aeromotive Stealth 2 fuel tank which is very well priced.

Tuning is done via an Android Tab connected by bluetooth.

for 1850 USD you get a real port injection mounted on a Victor intake - the dizzy is also a nice piece.

The only issue is the total height of the install, I needed to cut the hood to clear the air cleaner, I will put a hood scoop like a cougar eliminator or cervini B9 to close this hole.

I wish they would create a port fuel injection for the 351w performer RPM intake, so we could use it with a shaker.

Anyone done the upgrade to TMI Sport or Sport II foam on existing frames?

I have custom sport R seat covers in my 70.  TMI was kind enough to make them with black with white stripe and logo delete.  They turned out fantastic.  I am 5', 7 and fit great. in these seats. Yes they are a bit higher than stock. TMI now makes reclining Pro-series Sport R seats complete with low profile mounting brackets.  They look great and worth a call to find out how much lower they.  Not saying there aren't other good options out there but these look great.

  5. You might want to try 100% gas (no ethanol). What is your timing set at?   With 300 miles the motor, it could be tight.  When my motor was rebuilt it had a big overheating problem. I installed Maradyne dual fans with the shroud that fits a 24" radiator. (~2800 cfm) and it solved the problem.
