  1. Nice project. I would say definitely pull the rear window before having the headliner installed. Easy to do this yourself. Just cut the gasket as you'll want to replace it anyway.
  2. I did mine with vinyl. I made a few mistakes so its a good idea to get a little extra material if you haven't done this before. I first tried to lay down the vinyl then trim the edges, but I couldn't get good results this way. I ended up making paper templates and cutting the vinyl to size before applying. I stripped the door trim of the original material as it was in poor shape. I also had to fill a few dents and relocated the emblem holes. The dash was in good shape, so I left it and sanded it down a little.
  3. I love the style of that TP-900! One of those outfitted with modern guts would be awesome.
  4. Or maybe its been painted or coated with something? I did receive a comfortweave sample from SMS a few weeks ago and it looked fine. I don't think I'll be ordering from them though. Too bad TMI didn't bring this to your attention.
  5. Looks like a lot of backyards in the U.S.
  6. Not sure if its my favorite, but Aztec Aqua is in my top three. It looks great on the Mach 1 because of the black graphics and black hood. I don't really like it on other Mustangs.
  7. I had a glass guy glue my window in and the angle ended up being a little off. I was able to use some washers between the window frame and the piece that slides on the rods. Adding a washer to either the top or bottom hole will change the angle in or out a little more.
  8. In my experience, Firestone Firehawks are a lot grippier than the BFG's.
  9. I almost hit the buy-it-now, but I thought it sounded too good to be true. I was thinking they must be plastic covers or something like that for that price.
  10. Anyone have these? And why are they so cheap? http://www.ebay.com/itm/280817970684?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1438.l2649
  11. Bought a few parts from Ron recently. Good communication and parts arrived quickly.
  12. The Gas-Adjust shocks sold now are not manually adjustable, but I believe they were at one time. I have GR-2's and I like them - not harsh at all.
  13. I'm looking for the woodgrain covered trim pieces for the rear interior panels. Condition of the woodgrain decals is not important. Thanks!
  14. The panels I have are 69 with the rectangular opening for the mirror controls. The cups were broken off, but the seller said they take the short cups. Is there something I can measure to confirm what I need? Or, can I use the short cups with either style panel? I'll also be replacing the bracket for the door.
  15. Thanks, I'll go for the metal ones. Both my metal cups were broken so I was thinking maybe plastic was a better solution...
  16. I see repos are available in both metal and plastic. Are the metal cups better or are they just more correct?
  17. Here's somes pics of my din modification to a standard repo bezel. The bezel needs to be widened all the way accross including the chrome trim and I even thinned the sides slightly so the head unit would squeeze through. As an alternative to shaving the sides of the bezel, you may be able to heat the plastic and stretch it around your head unit. I filled the gaps above and below by gluing some thin black plastic on top. You could also fill these gaps with fiberglass or body filler I suppose, but mine looked ok in the end so I left it. The cage doesn't fit thorugh the bezel, so it is cut at an angel to match the angle of the backside of the bezel. Here's everything put together. The cut cage is butted against the back of the bezel holding everything tight. In the car. I did have to trim the back of the two plastic moldings on the side just a bit.
