  1. wow that's amazing work. Can't say I'm a big fan of the exhaust though ;) but can definitely appreciate the work involved!

  3. My rear main seal was a piece of rope. I had to take the engine out (to lift the crank up) to get it out! If you have a 2-piece rear main then it can be done by dropping the oil pan and rear main only. So, I'd say it's tough to give an accurate guess on labour! Plus, I'd say a leaky rear main seal isn't going to cause the pressure drop that you're seeing. As asked above, what weight oil are you using?

    Nascar

I've never been to a NASCAR race, and am planning on doing so this year. Any suggestions? I'm leaning towards Michigan (partially due to availability of flights and NASCAR schedule). Aside from a pit pass, is there anything else that's a "must do" when attending a race? Any comments on the Michigan track?

  7. well, the color in the image doesn't quite match the color in the magazine :D and I think my front fender was sprayed in a different direction than the rest of the car. Looking at it straight on, it's a dead match to everything else. But when there's sunlight on it...it's just a hint different!

  15. I recently had to drill holes for the rear spoiler on my freshly painted trunk. Just about had a mental breakdown as I touched the drill bit to the car for the first time :D

  19. hahaha oops, Silver Jade correction made! :D Too early for serious posts like this! Pakrat -- yeah, I don't have super strong feelings for any of them. We can use 8 characters here. My top 10 have already been taken so this is my "B" list. I just want something other than the standard random numbers :D Good suggestion though! That's now in my top 10! :D (on the downside, I'd probably have to explain it to everyone!)

  21. I figure I'll get some opinions from the masses Trying to think of a plate for a Silver Jade '69 Mustang GT fastback. I've spent a lot of time going through existing license plates, and unfortunately my top 10 list is already taken by other cars  so here's my current short list...

  23. another vote for Monzy's suggestion. The only time I touch UPS is when I have things shipped to The UPS Store, which is just on the other side of the border (50 minutes away from me). They'll hold it for $5, and then at the border you pay duty (if there is any) and provincial taxes on it (or HST, if you're blessed ;) ).

  25. Big Secz -- just at thought, but can you make "copies" of your work (prints?). Since you can only do black/white, a drawing of a black car and another of a 'white' (maybe grey-ish?) car would probably satisfy a lot of folks. Personally, I'd pay for a copy of a picture of someone else's '69 fastback (I'd bet a drawing of my silver sage fastback would look very similar to someone's red fastback). I don't need a custom picture, because aside from perhaps the "angle" of the picture, a charcoal drawing my car is going to look probably exactly the same as someone else's. $90 for an original, and charge less for copies -- this would save you significant time...and keep folks like me happy :D Plus, I'm sure there is enough interest in custom pictures that you'd be kept busy enough! Just my thoughts for the morning -- your drawings are great!
