  2. You have lots of options. Here is a great source for parts, and info, to make several different kinds of 5 speed swaps work. http://moderndriveline.com/index.html

  4. If it has ignition points take a Petronix conversion kit with you, and convert it to electronic ignition before you hit the road. It's an EASY swap, and a great piece of mind.

  6. Why not just purchase some used shop manuals? I have a set for my '70. It's nice to have the actual book in front of you while working on a car.... http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1969-FORD-SHOP-MANUAL-SET-SERVICE-BOOKS-MUSTANG-MORE-/220825973725?pt=Motors_Manuals_Literature&hash=item336a40f3dd#ht_500wt_956

  10. Nearly impossible to tell from that photo. They appear to stick out a ton too. I have 285s on the back of my '70. The wheels are 17X9, with a 5.5" back space. All the tire is inside my wheel wells too.... if that helps you at all.

    What if?

I think it would hurt performance, be a waste of energy, and it would probably sound goofy too. Do one or the other, but not both.
