  1. wired the engine and pulled the Ron Francis harness to the rear panel. i make a bit of an enclosure to keep any drips away. I dont know if any of you have used Ron Francis before, this is my third. The harness is amazing and Scott is always there to answer.
  2. it the EZ wiring kit. I've done it twice already and each time it's like I never did it. not to mention I can't see a damn thing on the wires. I have to put cheaters over my bifocals to see the wire :-) I also just got my Ron Francis wiring for the engine, that will also be going in.
  3. There will be no getting around it, you'll probably need to replace the cowl. Media blast it and you'll see a constellation when you put a light to it.
  4. engine all set, brake booster in too.
  5. did the spark plug wires today, I could never get them to look uniform no matter what i do.
  6. Are you in the Autobody business? you seem to know exactly what your doing.
  7. now, this is definitely a New England car!
  8. we don't need, we buy cause we want :-)
  9. had some spare upper control arms that were no good so why not make a quick tranny mount/
  10. Thanks!, the pic is at a bad angle, I think the steering will clear with room to spare. Ill probably get it in today.
  11. not bad for under $70 bucks. I have to say, for chineesey product, these actually look and feel well made. even the tig weld on the collector is really nice. By the way, does everyone have the issue with all shorty headers coming right up against the engine/tranny casting? I've tried two others and they are right up against it. https://www.ebay.com/itm/Stainless-Steel-Shorty-Exhaust-Header-Manifold-for-79-93-Ford-Mustang-5-0-302-V8/232864980128?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2060353.m2749.l2649
  12. test fit the rear backing plates for the disc. also got the stainless steel cheapo headers on.
  13. I believe it was the Torino mirrors that had remote passenger. on a quick search found this http://www.2040-parts.com/ford-mirrors-torino-ranchero-remote-i2077125/ and this https://www.ebay.com/b/Vintage-Exterior-Mirrors-for-1974-Ford-Torino/140707/bn_7061116883
  14. got the 5 leaf springs in today. not bad for the price. I modified the diff flanges to put in the 98 mercury marquis brakes. ( same as crown vic)
  15. only thing was the car needs to be pretty high up. i have my stands at full height, and it wont slide under the car, I had to bring it in via the rear through the tunnel.
  16. being both my lifts are occupied and i wanted the tranny in today I went to HB to buy the tranny jack. Got to say it worked great and did it alone. I had to remove the bolts on the front of the motor mount and tilt the engine way back to get it in. There is minimal clearance when putting in the AODE/4R70W in that tunnel.
  17. Its aluminum spray paint. it does a great job. I'll get a pic of the can when I get to the shop. Got it at Autozone.
  18. Im quickly going broke! I dont know where another $7K just went, but this damn thing should be driving around by now ! just ordered rear leafs, another vintage air unit, and those AN fittings will slowly kill your wallet. hey, anybody have a mass air meter and tube for a 93?
  19. Yea, no kidding, you make my stuff look like crap :-)
