Raven R code 281 Report post Posted December 10, 2016 About to paint my 428.....using Eastwood (corporate) ford blue. Body guy is going to shoot the fully assembled motor. I think it is rated at 650°......versus the typical 550° rattle can.
1969_Mach1 333 Report post Posted December 10, 2016 A benefit of using a spray can is easy touch up later on when repairs or upgrades are done. I used to use Aervoe brand engine enamel. I like it better than Dupli Color. The Aervoe brand Dark Ford Blue is closer to original color and covers better. I can no longer find it in my area and am stuck with Dupli Color.
