Emblem Removal

Recommended Posts

There are 3 pins on the back that have small speed nuts on them. The best way is to remove the nuts from the back of the dash, but If you're careful and protect the wood grain surface, you can usually gently pry them off with a screwdriver.

I personally avoid "screwdriver ops" when it comes to removing emblems on my car. Dental floss is good to cut old sticky stuff they used to put behind some emblems (like running horse medallions on 1/4 panels). I also use plastic (Teflon?) made prying tools, the ones designed for interior trim removal on modern cars.
