window screws n bolts

Recommended Posts

I was going through the AMK catalog online and saw this. Could this be what you're looking for?

AMK Part number F-2914 (Door Glass - Channel - Bolt-in Glass)

BTW, I've just started the restoration of my 69 Mach 1 that I have owned for about seven years. I know that this forum will be a great resource for me as I move forward.

The bolt that holds the foot of the window guide rail is 1/4-20-3/4 long with flange head as some of the other bolts. The two nuts on the bolts that go through the window mounting bracket (front and rear) are 1/4-20 also but have a specialized washer it is convex on one side and concave on the other and is attached in a way that allows it to turn independently from the nut. My windows are out at this point and I could could probably get pictures and descriptions If that would help. Let me know and I will dig them out and see what I can do.

Dave

BTW mine are 1970 bolt in and from the diagram you posted and marked up it seems that is what you are interested in.
