attaching trim to taillight lenses

What are you guys using to attach the pieces of trim to the tail light lenses? My originals are in great shape but a few of them have came off. They appear to have a black adhesive on them. Kind of reminded me of either seam sealer or the black windshield adhesive. I don't want to use anything that will damage my lenses as they are originals in perfect condition.

i cut strips of the double sided tape.

We used a small amount of black RTV silicone on Steve's.

3m super weatherstrip adhesive..Black

I used a little bit of Permatex clear RTV adhesive. They are stuck really well.

I called Daniel Carpenter who is making the Ford Licensed lens and asked them as I had the same situation. They suggestion E6000 glue that I purchased from Hobby Lobby. It is a clear glue that so far has worked great and held up very well.
