BigDuke6 17 Report post Posted October 14, 2013 a lot of AR stuff is made in China crap. I love Magnum 500s but would go with Specialty Wheel instead

jholmes217 65 Report post Posted October 23, 2013 I like the classic street machine look of American Racing Wheels, Keystone Classics, or Crager SST myself if you don't go with Magnum 500s or chrome styled steel wheels that were factory.
1969Fstback 58 Report post Posted October 23, 2013 Was curious on the size. I have a set of 15 inch original Magnum 500's on my 69 fastback that I will be pulling off and replacing with late model 18's sometime in the near future. I will be selling them once they come off. Black Jade 43 Report post Posted October 29, 2013 My wheels came from the AR custom shop in KANSAS CITY, KANSAS. Got them in 5 weeks. No boat from China.
BigDuke6 17 Report post Posted October 29, 2013 Hmm. That might make me reconsider. I want to get Magnum 500s. Specialty Wheel are made of steel and heavy. I have read stories about AR having quality control that is hit or miss. With me being in Germany, I cannot afford to buy, get them over, and then find out they are poor quality and send them back.
