Powershift 19 Report post Posted March 29, 2012 Yea, the '69/'70 Shelbys really hit a gray area in the Shelby world for quite some time. Hard core Shelby enthusiasts didn't consider them true Shelby cars, which didn't make the cars worth "Shelby" asking prices. But, they were seemingly worth more than a "regular" '69/'70 fastback. This left them squarely priced above the budget of most Mustang owners, and below the value of earlier Shelby models. But, as time went on, and the prices of the early Shelby cars went through the roof... the '69/'70 Shelby prices seemed to finally go up.
Max Power 74 Report post Posted March 30, 2012 Never cared for the 69/70 Shelbys at all. They had all the styling miscues that made the 71-73 models so painful to look at.
TexasEd 190 Report post Posted March 30, 2012 To me this is the best angle. There is something sexy about the rear quarter of a 69 sportsroof.
