An aftermarket harness taking power directly from the battery is also a good option as other have suggested. As cars get older, connections become corroded and resistance goes up decreasing the flow of current to the lights and thus decreasing their out put. panteramatt 1 Report post Posted June 22, 2010 Hope you ran relays or updated the wiring using hids. I have hids in my other 2 vehicles and love them but they are much newer. The kit I used came with new bigger wiring with builtin relays and I can tell you that hids are NOT any brighter than this kit is.
