painted the inserts satin black to mimic the magnum 500. I was going to go with the billet specialties but wanted 17's and a bigger window to show off the brakes. I'm pretty happy with the outcome. Too bad the car's not at the point of mounting them.

If you go with the 4.6 dohc don't you have to get rid of the shocktowers? If so, most people go with the Mustang II front end (which Qa1 makes coilovers for) or does Opentracker make a strut rod front end that uses the stock or modified lower control arm for the (modified) shocktowerless front end?

I did the same thing. It looks like your rims are chrome. If so, did you scuff up the finish where you painted? If not the paint won't last very long.
