jjstang 51 Report post Posted November 16, 2009 New to his forum. Been hanging out at VMF for years. Got all excited when I found a '69 dedicated site. Info should much more relevant. Have a '69 mach1, silverjade, mcode, fmx, ac, ps, pb, 3:25 tracloc, non matching. I've had the car +/- 4-5 years. Got it off ebay, the seller lied......alot. My first wave of restoration included entire brake sustem, all suspension/steering, weatherstripping, and the interior is now 95%. Contenplating the second wave which will include tearing it down to replace the rusted parts, paint, aod, rack & pionion and more. Waiting to get the engine out to determine if its original. If it's not I may go crate, aiming for 385-400hp. My goal is a weekend warrior and playing (not seruious) on an open track (hence, the small block).
