  5. Hi ! I am restomodding a 70 fastback and want to put a 460 in it . I was wondering what suspension you use ? I want the car to handle fairly well but realize the big block will make it somewhat nose heavy . I don't necessarily want a Trans Am car to compete with . I just want it handle close to a small block car . What would you recommend as far as suspension goes ? I've looked at the Total Cost Involved set-up and like the fact that it eliminates the inner shock towers . Thanks in advance for the recommendation . James Taylor

  8. Elementry Watson, The good looks and desireability of the Sportsroof model lead more people to owning one. Convertibles are nice,but finding good ones is difficult. Rejoice in the fact that you are one of the few.:biggrin: And as far as that catagory in a catagory,what do you think Boss 429's are.:biggrin::biggrin::biggrin:

  10. Pak,what did you expect. To each their own on choice of 69 bodystyle,but,in my humble opinion the 1969 Mustang Sportsroof model is quite possibly the best looking Mustang ever :biggrin: But then again I am severly biased:thumbup1:

  12. Pak, Sorry you are having such a problem getting the wheels you want. Opinion,those hopsters are ugly. Why not look at vintage wheel works V48 or V50's Newstalgia has them

  14. I actually have a 72 Pinto Runabout parked next to my 69 Mustang. The Pinto has a full cage,custom stainless fuel cell,and is getting a 289 with AFR heads and a hyd roller cam,C4 trans,A/C,4wheel discs and more. Just need more money and time,but will be a blast to drive with it weighing 2500 lbs. Rice Killer !!!!!:biggrin:
