69 Mach, S code, ac, correct engine fan?
TF69 replied to Caseyrhe's topic in 1969-70 Technical Forum
Fan should have clutch, Can take a picture of my original 390 AC/PS fan if you want. Spacer I believe with it still is a 2". -
I just shipped a project from Texas to Florida for $450 so right broker can get it done cheap.

Had to many PM's cleared inbox up to allow. Doubt firewall pad is good in fastback. They are easy to reproduce just like original with stranded fiber instead of aftermarket wool.

Purchased a few years back for roof section for my big block car. Have sold some small pieces off it to forum members.Storing at buddies bodyshop but city is bugging him to clean up back of shop where I am storing. It's a roller right now with no roof and passenger door pillar. Info I know without pulling marti report is 1969 - Mach 1 - Acapulco Blue , 351-4V with Automatic transmission, AIR,TINT,DISC BRAKES. Have title for car, if somebody wants to repair somehow. Front underhood/towers in good shape for parts. Disc brake stuff still all there, have dash etc out stored although rough but metal good. Located in South Florida, also have 1969 Grande parts car with 351, car runs complete together, although rusted.

FS - 1969 mustang radiator support Dynacorn Weld thru
TF69 posted a topic in Parts for Sale / Wanted
I purchased this a few months back expecting to replace mine but decided against it. Still in box. Make an offer located in South Florida. -
I need the Passenger side quarter extension from a fastback 1969. I have two but both are cracked. Need the cast ones not the fiberglass ones.
-
Rusted out to bad. I ended up using a slightly bent one off my other 69 and straightened on frame machine before I used, was rust free atleast.
-
They have the inside cowl part, outside hinge pillar but I need a piece dynacorn will not sell without buying a $1500-2000 side assembly. Its the sheetmetal that goes up the windshield pillar.
-
Coupe won't work. This is for a fastback.
-
I need from drivers upper hinge to top of windshield sheetmetal. If anybody has let me know.

WTB: 69 Fastback LH Quarter Panel Scoop "bracket"
TF69 replied to GriGri's topic in Parts for Sale / Wanted
I cannot cut out until this weekend when I go to work on mine, but if you cover paypal fees I can do the $50 plus shipping. Its a shame to cut stuff off this car being a Mach 351-4V but I think I ruined it after taking door post off it for my car. -

I won't be using the quarters, I already cut out the quarter window area structure for my project. No clue what they cost though. -

I have two part car fastbacks both with them. -
Glad you decided to paint it before shipping overseas saved alot of extra work for you. Looks good.

Its not a waste to use a few $$$ on basecoat to protect it. Now I asked because of Dupont/Nason being one of the only basecoats still around that they still state in spec sheet NON-SANDABLE. I worked with it for years it can be sanded but delamination problems can happen quite easily. Make sure you do not sand basecoat higher then 600 grit when you get it home overseas to repaint. It may go on well day one but you get a chip and can come off in sheets. Personally I would buy a pint or quart depending how you spray of PPG Deltron basecoat to match your color, mid temp reducer and get a pint of the basecoat catalyst to help protect it this makes basecoat harder to chips but also seals it better from moisture. Once you get it home you can sand with whatever grit you like 400,600,800 and basecoat again to reflash even with your Dupont Chromabase without issue of adhesion issues.
-
For basecoat your not using Dupont/Nason right?
-
So you did not apply Epoxy underneath that primer after repairing panels? You opted for an Etch primer then 2k Urethane? The issue with epoxy is that you have a recoat window before you have to sand it again which can be a pain. So if you epoxy that rear half by the time it gets there you will have alot harder work to prep again for paint then before. It will definately protect it for the trip. Do you have time to block sand that primer before shipped out? Personally I hate sanding epoxy and would block primer and shoot epoxy and add coat 2k primer after leaving prep easy when it gets back and protected. Shame you cannot paint it, really with a good day or two you could. If you were closer could help you out located in South FL.

Epoxy is an amazing sealer but your supposed to over reduce it and there is also a flash time with, meaning you need to apply basecoat within a certain time frame to have it adhere without re-sanding which defeats the purpose of usiing as sealer.
-
What are you planning to use it for I could maybe help you with another product. Are you trying to use this as a sealer before basecoat? If so theres better products for that.

I need both brackets and the adjustable idler for a 1969 Mustang 390. If you have correct good compressor core will buy that aswell.
-
These guys restamp with the sunx/date code so don't think its carlite but its like factory. Email them they will send picture of date/stamped glass.
-
The glass is correct glue in for 69 or they sell bolt in style. They also will make you date coded glass to match your other glass. Did not have issue with them.
-
I have an extra set of channels. I have a 69 mach parts car that should still have quarter glass intact. Would have to check condition on that pivot. Let me know if you don't find it anywhere else first.

I did not want to ruin it completely but was thinking headers, wheels and possibly suspension upgrade that can be reversed.
