My first station was Robbins AFB in Georgia, at the time it was shared by a SAC wing and the other side was the main repair facility for the F-15. The best part was watching a pilot wring out a newly rebuilt Eagle. One pretty darned impressive bird.....

How much to ship to Boscawen NH, zip 03303? -
No, I was in the Air Force from 1978-1982 in SAC as a Munitions Maint Tech/Transportations work. Mostly hung around B-52-s. Got to go on a refueling mission once on a kc135, a very cool experience.....

Had a similar cleveland problem, especially when the engine was fresh, 2 years ago I swapped over to a gear reduction starter, problem eleminated. This unit spins the engine like the plugs were out, and shopping around found a very reasonable priced starter.

Don't know the tail #,it was a KC 135 refueling tanker at Pease Ntl. Guard base in Portsmouth NH

Thanks, no the "R" is short for "our" Mach 1.

This is ours, before hitting the paint booth, my wife bought this, her first car in 1977 for $1800.00, wish my 401K was doing as well....

Great to see another grabba green brotha......From what I understand, there are only about 800 or so of us originals...
-
Very very nice looking engine....thanks for sharing the beauty

Yes, it's for an original re-built plate light assy, $175.00, they said is it all date coded and exactly like a new one. The day I spent that kind of cake on that item is the day I will be beaten severely by my wife.

Are you looking for the pot metal extentions or the body part they attach to?? Which side???
-
Hi John, go the light toady, looks very nice and useable, much more affordable than a Mustangs Etc. re-built unit for $175.00. I almost had a heart attack when he told me the cost, yes it's very nice, but wow!!! Money order is on it's way..Thanks a lot....
-
Those look very comfortable, much more than the originals...
-
cool, pm me your address and I will put a money order in the mail for your trouble....
-
Thanks, e mail sent....

That looks pretty good, how much for it????

Yes, I am still looking for a good original one, if you have one, post a photo and I will let you know. Thanks a lot for the reply.....

Thats exactly what the "experts" said, my car was tweaked. We have owned it since 77, too bad as I loved the look of the headers, but again the fit was horrible....
-
A couple years ago I tried in vain to put a set of Hooker Super Comps in our car, they were horrible, I had to return them. Currently I have a set of Black Jacks, if you unbolt them they fall to the floor. I don't know if it was the headers that were bad, or a problem with the car, but the next set I will use is black jack...my 2 cents worth

Yes we are gonna keep it grabber green, somewhere I heard there were only 800 or so made that color. It was love at first sight for the 3 of us, me, her and the car. We were married 4 months after meeting. Yes, we are in Bosquin....

Just ordered a set of blocks, thanks for the info.....
-
Great, thanks for the info, did you buy the blocks or make them yourself, if so do you know the dimensions???

Excellent site, here is a shot of our '70, my wife's first car, she bought it in '77 for $1800, I came into the picture when we met and got married in '80. She's the 2nd owner, it's a .30 over 4V cleveland, FMX. It has never seen salt so a very little bit of metal work. Hoping that it will make it out this summer. Again, excellent site and forum....

This isn't my car, but a favorite shot, the owner says it runs quicker lifting the fronties...
