  1. Not sure how far your going with it but with my car i decided to remove all the old body schutz/body deadener from under the car. This was no mean feat.Patience is required.I found low heat with a torch fitted to my bbq gas bottle was a good method.Just heat up a small area, dont get it to hot or it just melts and gets messy, just enough to get it soft. Then with a scraper or wire brush/wheel scrape it of.Just remember where your pointing the torch when your scraping.I also used methods listed by 69ravenconv.Good luck with it all mate.
  2. Im pretty sure you can have the original block resleaved if thats the way you wanted to go.Either way i would hang onto the original block regardless.

  4. Do you still have the tabs. One of mine was broken and had it welded back on.Being Cast iron or pot iron it had to welded with the correct technique.Any good welding type workshop or engineering shop should be able to do it.
  5. Here in OZ we call it a thingymabob. But seriously im pretty sure its a flasher unit bracket or holder. As far as i know should there should only be one.
  6. Being a restomod leaves the door wide open .For what its worth i would look at some of the modern colors, theres some realy nice metalics with deep hues and pearls.Have a look around in some new car yards or the shopping mall car park and see what i mean .Perhaps something that no one has done to make your pride and joy truly unique and different.Well thats my 2 cents worth, goodluck.
