If you are not familiar with BAT it is a really neat website that scours the internet looking for interesting vehicles for sale. I like it because of all of the unique cars that I have never heard of or seen. They update it with a couple cars a day. Today the have a 69 boss that was a barn find....great color....I wish my barn find would have been in as good a shape or as rare... http://bringatrailer.com/2014/01/03/40-years-in-a-barn-1969-ford-mustang-boss-302/

Forgot....you may also need to factor in the cost of raising the garage door cost was about 350 for parts and install...

I have the Dannmar....works great reasonably priced.... but. If you are not using it for storage and occasional work you probably would be happier with a 2 post....brakes, suspension and wheels much easier to use it for.

Funny thing my 428 looks just like yours...I was out at the race track and blew what I thought was the head gasket turns out May also be the intake gaskets.... -
I am going to run the same wheels on my 69... On the rear you can run the 255/60/15 on the 15x8.5 on the front 235/60/15 sometimes rub...I usually go with the 225 60 15...

I had mine cut from below the scoop along the fender and down the door...you will find it much easier to get everything lined up that way. I would probably have a couple professionals look at it and give some options...

Anyone found a suitable replacement for the duct hose under the dash...mine is deteriorated.... two pieces about 18 inches and 3 inch in diameter?

It is Caspian blue which is a 66-67 color. My Cougar is Medium Blue which I will change to Acapulco Blue next time I paint it. My Mustang was originally Meadowlark Yellow that was painted some color blue. Mike love that stang, the wheels on the back look good what size are those? -

Wow cant believe how long its been since I got the Mustang home...After scraping together some funds sent it off to the body shop...Thought it to be pretty rust free... Pulled the engine for a rebuild.... bodywork finished.. Body work finished.. on to rebuilding the front end... Still trying to get the 390 back together and finish rebuilding the 4 speed... -

After a long and painful journey the S code fastback I bought from a Barn has finally made it home. I trailered to the house and dropped it out front...Car has not been started for a few years and not driven in mannnny years...Need to get the mouse droppings out... Changed the oil, filled up the radiator, cleaned the points, installed a new ignition coil, new battery....and I got nothing bypassed everything (starter wire direct to battery still nothing...removed starter bench tested got it to spin...Put it back on tommorow and try agian need to get it moved into the garage to start tearing into her... Car is very soild just need a little TLC and a lot of $$$ to be back...Would like to just get her running and drive it around with body as is...

I put the manual disk in my 70 428 cougar and they work very well, the power would fit but with bb very little room to work...I also used the csrp and was not real happy with missing parts...I used a stock porportioning valve since I also did not like the adjustable one....but with 4wheel disk you might have to...

Getting an estimate on a paint job soon...ideas?
7TCatvert replied to t70stang's topic in 1969-70 Technical Forum
Thats a good price...also make sure to get a time line and what happens if goes past a certian date dont want your car in "paint jail" -
it was more the point to be paint that they made 250,000 fastbacks in 69 plus 70 should be able to find one that meets your needs...I would not recommend cutting up a S code for a project...
