For something as simple as changing oil, I use the drive on ramps. Easy peasy.

When I need to lift the front or back, or both, I use the front torque boxes and lift the rear from the center of the rear housing. I rarely use jack stands anymore since I built a set of 2x4 cribbing stands.

What does the tire rest on ? Foot squared, looks to be 7 high?

  2. The steering box has no fluid in it. Pump and ram do. Put in a flaming river unit eons ago. Then took the pump and ram off. With headers the bracket that relocates the ram would always scrape the pavement, speed bumps, driveway humps.
Had others that were contemplating a rack & pinion drive my car. They changed their mind and called Flaming River.

I have been using one over 3 years on one of my cars. It works, but the pump itself is a little noisy especially when the fuel level is low. It should be easy to install a better pump on the pick up assembly when/if the pump part fails. It also reads the fuel level decently.

What F I unit are you using ?
