  1. It’s been awhile and there’s been a few changes. Still have the Dragonstang. Put it has recently received a few new organ transplants. The 351W has been replaced with a 351C. the top loader got pulled and a Tremec T56 6 speed went in. gone is the 1 legged 8 inch rear-end for a posi trac disc brake 9 inch tire torturer. The drum front brake are also disc now being pushed by a new power brake booster thru adjustable proportioning valve and roll control. All new Autometer phantom gauges And yes I’m still married after all that( thank God) so that’s why I also put a roll cage in it and relocated the battery to the trunk. It also received all new sheet metal from the doors forward… no I didn’t wreck it, it

Anyway, I got the car running and the battery died on me a few weeks later (a problem the car has always had) so I decided to get a new alternator along with a new alternator harness. did you recharge the battery? remember the KISS rule. (keep it simple stupid) no offense ment not my saying just one i live by. check the simple things first then go from there. battery, regulator, inline fuses ECT.
  3. Yea. I’m one of those guys’ pulled the aluminum headed Windsor monster out to drop in a warmed up Cleveland with more build potential in. PITA to do by yourself. Engine mounts are all the same but be sure to check on the clutch linkage. I went to a hydraulic clutch because I put in the T56 six speed. The linkage was always a pain to get around my headers and I’m sure it’s going to be different for the 2 motors. If you are going to be doing the work of swaping motors why NOT remove the hood( beats a new paint job and stitches on the back of your head) also pull the radiator. And you can clean everything up when the bay is empty. I put the engine in before I started re plumbing my brake lines for roll control and adj. proportioning valve DOUGH.
  4. i like this one. it looks far better on that modle than it ever did on the doorstops....71-73 it goes really well with the brake vents in the quarters

  23. i did the conversion with a buddy we used a solid coupe and a rusted out fastback the was totally butchered by a crackhead who thought he was a sculptor. i have few pics in my album and a ton more if your looking for something specific. check it out.
  24. i got some sheet metal from mustangs plus. i got 2 quarter panels, a tail panel, 2 inner wheel wells, and a short driver side floor pan. i was really pleased with the quality and fit of the parts.check them out.http://www.mustangsplus.com/xcart/home.php
