1969 Rocker Moldings

Recommended Posts

Does anyone make decent reproduction rocker moldings? The reviews I've read are 5 plus years old but they all say the same thing. The repros lack the slight curve where they mate to the fender at the front by the wheel well. Any experiences?

i purchased some from CJP and they looked OK to me but I never got the OEM ones with the car so I had nothing to compare to. In my opinion they are just daily driver quality not show car quality they do have imperfections in the finish if looking real close.

I got a set of oem ones off my car that I am not putting back on.  They have a few dings that would need worked out and would need polished.   Doubtful they could easily be made show quality.

Polishing does not last on aluminum, it will dull again. They need to be plated like the originals but I can't remember the kind of plating applied to aluminum that keeps it shinny like chrome.

What do you want for them? Do you have any pictures?
