jgkurz 52 Report post Posted May 7, 2017 Hi folks, My new engine is going to surpass the ability of my 3/8 fuel line. My fuel pump has -8 and my tank will have 1/2 NPT or similar. If you have 1/2 line, did you run AN hose or did you bend your own metal lines?
fvike 173 Report post Posted May 7, 2017 Nope. Your new engine is going to surpass the ability of your fuel pump. It's all about your pumping power. Google 3/8 vs 1/2 fuel line and read the boards.
jgkurz 52 Report post Posted May 7, 2017 Nope, my RobbMC mechanical pump is rated to 1100HP and will not be a restriction. Who has run 1/2" fuel line?
