~ Is this the correct paint for grill opening pieces?....

Recommended Posts

You didn't specify which year and what trim...but my experience is that the Ford Argent is pretty light, and for a 1970, at least won't look right.

For the 1970 Mach 1 Grill and Headlight trim pieces I have, I used the NPD "AP-GPA" paint.   I had an original grill, headlight trim, and fog light plastic trim to compare it to, and it was the right color for me.

They have the 1967 paint, which is called AP-GPC.  I have not used it, so I can't speak to how the color match is.

Scott Drake has a Gun Metal Blue paint for the 64-1/2 and 65 Mustangs.  I have used that, and it is also a good match.

I have used the Argent paint on my 1968 Styled Steel Wheels.

Hope all/some of this helps.
