Silver-Fox 3 Report post Posted April 3, 2016 Question: Where is the pedal stop for manual brakes on 69 automatic ? Is it on the pedal mount or the pedal or none at all ? I ask this question because I am converting back to manual 4 wheel disc brakes and the manual pedals for 69 mustang automatics I have found do not have a stop on the pedal like previous years. So how do I keep the push rod for the master cylinder from potentialy falling out ? The Baer remaster MC has no retention capability. I know I can fabricate one but I rather know how the factory did it. Tom
Rsmach1 71 Report post Posted April 3, 2016 Not 100% positive but think Ford relied on the pushrod clip locking into the M/C(at least for 69/70), ever tried to get one out? Pretty much have to break the locking clip and it takes some force to do so.
